51"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

At first glance, the above statement sounds reasonable, and it relies on an assumption that needs and interests of every student are different, which is dubious. It is true that no every two students are totally same, but it does not mean that they have nothing in common. In fact, many students share some common needs such as learning basic skills and morality. This calls for a balance between standard education and individualized education.

First of all, individualized education is significant in cultivating talent students. A typical example can be found in higher education, especially in graduate schools in universities. In science subjects, almost every graduate student has a special advisor, for every student researches in different directions from his or her classmates. When the students meet some difficulties and troubles in their research, they can timely receive suitable advices from their advisors. Since the students' researches are so specific, it is almost impossible for one advisor to guide them simultaneously, and such kind of individualized education guarantees the quality of education. Without such individualized education, the students will probably cannot develop fully and contribute to society well.

On the other hand, individualized education sometimes is hard to be applied and has poor efficiency. For example, in some poor areas in China, there are many children in an age of going to school, but the number of teachers available there is very small. Therefore, the teacher has to teach students in a very large class. It is true that it will be better for these children if they could receive more individualized education, but as the circumstance limit it impossible to reach that goal and a large class could provide more children education and have a better result than only teaching a small number of students. Besides, there are also other cases in which the standard education is more effective. For instance, in fundamental schools, nearly all pupils share the same needs that are to learn reading, writing and other basic skills. Further, they also need to learn morality, which is also the same among pupils. Therefore, it is natural to teach them in a standard method. If they are taught one by one just like graduate students, the efficiency of education is undoubtedly low.

All in all, although sometimes it is desirable for education to be design to meet individuals’ needs and interests, it is sometimes better for teachers to teach students in a large class. Further, the reality is that the standard education is the only choice in many towns.

51"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

At first glance, the above statement sounds reasonable, and it relies on an assumption that needs and interests of every student are different, which is dubious (which指代什么呢? It is true that no every two students are totally same (觉得好别扭 every student is distinct?), but it does not mean that they have nothing in common. In fact, many students share some common needs such as learning basic skills and morality This (it?) calls for a balance between standard education and individualized education.

First of all, individualized education is significant in cultivating talent students. A typical example can be found in higher education, especially in graduate schools in universities. In science subjects, almost every graduate student has a special advisor, for every student researches in different directions from his or her classmates (+ do?). When the students meet some difficulties and troubles in their research, they can timely receive suitable advices (有复数么?) from their advisors. Since the students' researches are so specific, it is almost impossible for one advisor to guide them simultaneously, and such kind of individualized education guarantees the quality of education. Without such individualized education, the students will probably cannot develop fully and contribute to  ( make contribution for )society well.

On the other hand, individualized education sometimes is hard to be applied and has poor efficiency. For example, in some poor areas in China, there are many children in an (at the ) age of going to school   (表达太不地道, 不过我一时业想不出  ) , but the number of teachers available there is very small. Therefore, the teacher has to teach students in a very large class. It is true that it will be better for these children if they could receive more individualized education, but as the circumstance limit it (这里上下间的结构有点问题)impossible to reach that goal and a large class could provide more children education and have a better result than only teaching a small number of students.(有必要整这么个长句嘛?) Besides, there are also other cases in which the standard education 你也应该先定义下)is more effective. For instance, in fundamental schools, nearly all pupils share the same needs that are to learn reading, writing and other basic skills. Further, they also need to learn morality, which is also the same among pupils. Therefore, it is natural to teach them in a  standard method If they are taught one by one just like graduate students, the efficiency of education is undoubtedly low.

All in all, although sometimes it is desirable for education to be design to meet individuals’ needs and interests, it is sometimes better for teachers to teach students in a large class. Further, the reality is that the standard education is the only choice in many towns

51"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

At first glance, the above statement sounds reasonable, and it relies on an assumption that needs and interests of every student are different, which is dubious.(这句话说得有问题,整个一句话用and连接,到后半部分又用which来转折,which 指代的是谁? It is true that no (not)every two students are totally (the)same, but it does not mean that they have nothing in common. In fact, many students share some common needs such as learning basic skills and morality. This calls for a balance between standard education and individualized education.

First of all, individualized education is significant in cultivating talent students. A typical example can be found in higher education, especially in graduate schools in universities. (这句话是个什么意思)In science subjects, almost every graduate student has a special advisor, for (不正式)every student researches in different directions from his or her classmates.(直接使用every student researches different from his classmates 不好吗?) When the students meet some difficulties and troubles in their research, they can timely receive suitable advices from their advisors. Since the students' researches are so specific, it is almost impossible for one advisor to guide them simultaneously, and such kind of individualized education guarantees the quality of education. Without such individualized education, the students will probably cannot (去will)develop fully and contribute to society well.
Without such individualized education, the students will probably cannot develop fully.

On the other hand, individualized education sometimes is hard to be applied and has poor efficiency. For example, in some poor (总是使用一个词,还是换一个得好poverty-striken)areas in China, there are many children in an age of going to school(in an age to recieve education会不会好一点), but the number of teachers available there is very small(number能和poor连用吗?). Therefore, the teacher has to teach students in a very large class. It is true that it will be better for these children if they could receive more individualized education, but as the circumstance limit (limit circunstances或circunstances limited) it impossible to reach that goal and(顺接关系不要用and) a large class could provide more children education and have a better result than only teaching a small number of students. Besides, there are also other cases in which the standard education is more effective. For instance, in fundamental schools, nearly all pupils share the same needs that are to learn reading, writing and other basic skills. Further, they also need to learn morality,(只有这个吗?) which is also the same among pupils. Therefore, it is natural to teach them in a standard method. If they are taught one by one just like graduate students, the efficiency of education is undoubtedly low.(efficiency 不能和low 像搭配的吧)

All in all, although sometimes it is desirable for education to be design to meet individuals’ needs and interests, it is sometimes better for teachers to teach students in a large class. Further, the reality is that the standard education is the only choice in many towns.
