issue159(come on~~~~~)

159 The human mind will always be superior to machines because machines are only tools of human minds

Whether human mind is always superior to machine? The speaker claims that machine plays a role as tools in human life so that they are used to provide services and facilitate rather than control human beings. I fundamentally agree with the statement for our special ability and emotion which are different from machine; however, under some circumstances, machine really lead the society into unprecedented century and even transcend human mind.

Granted, machines come from human intelligence and are invented to create a more comfortable society; in other word, human beings control the procedure and the development of machines. For example, the operation of computers and Internet depend on the software which is produced by human beings and used to satisfy individual demand according to different systems. If people fail to put any command into such machine, computers would be treated as trash, let alone intellect. Moreover, with the development of technology, transportation increases the pace of social life and helps people to save lots of time. However, in the absence of human control, the society would trap into chaos and disaster would follow a person in any situation. Furthermore, machines cannot develop or renew by themselves because any procedure and information results from human ideas so that they should be ameliorate by human beings. Obviously, human is the leader of the society rather than machine, generally speaking, machine is only the tool of human life.

Also, artificial intellect cannot be equaled to human mind for its essential defects of ability of creation and response. Given that machines are cool and rigid tools, they would never possess human emotion, such as happiness, sad, cry and thoughts. For example, an artist can create distinctive and original works according to inspiration; on the contrary, a machine only can copy a picture rather than individual creation. When comes to the social life, human beings have family, social circle and friendship-all of these are connected by human nature, that is love. However, machines merely provide information or facilitate the society impersonally. Without ideas and thoughts, no machine knows how to communicate and respond to emergency and sometimes it might impede the development of society. Considering those shortcomings, those rigid tools have to yield to human control.

However, if people define "superior" as proficiency, accuracy and efficiency under some situations, the machine might surpass human mind for the striking workload and expeditious speed. A computer can deal with numerous data which must be finished by human beings for several days in a few minutes perfectly and memorize various information no matter what time and in which place it is. In the past time, Columbus used 6 months to travel from Portugal to America, while people can travel around the world by airplane in one day. Faced with those improvements, it is impossible to deny the superior intelligence of machine for its limitless ability and breath-taking efficiency..

Understandably, the machine would never transcend human mind in the term of independent and creative ideas because it comes from human beings and also be controlled by us. Nevertheless, advanced technology leads the society into unprecedented improvement so that people have no excuse to overlook the special ability of machine in some cases.

159 The human mind will always be superior to machines because machines are only tools of human minds

Whether human mind is always superior to machine? The speaker claims that machine plays a role as tools   (play a role in 是固定用法,是否能像你这么用实在吃不准)in human life so that they are used to provide services and facilitate (to facilitate而且要跟个宾语把) rather than control human beings. I fundamentally agree with the statement for our special ability and emotion which are different from (+ those of )machine; however, under some circumstances, machine really lead the society into unprecedented century and even transcend human mind.

Granted, machines come from human intelligence and are invented to create a more comfortable society; in other word, human beings control the procedure and the development of machines. For example, the operation of computers and Internet depend on the software which is produced by human beings and used to satisfy individual demand according to different systems. If people fail to put any command into such machine, computers would be treated as trash, let alone intellect (这个词是否用的恰当?intelligence?). Moreover, with the development of technology, transportation increases the pace of social life and helps people to save lots of time. However, in the absence of human control, the society  (前面既然提到的是交通运输,这里用traffic 好些)would trap into chaos and disaster would follow a person in any situation.

Given that machines are cool and rigid  tools, they would never possess human emotion, such as happiness, sad(sadness), cry (这不算感情算动作吧) and thoughts. For example, an artist can create distinctive and original works according to inspiration(这里顺带提一两幅具体的艺术巨作就好了,还可以用反问,机器能行吗,我觉得更有说服力,hehe ); on the contrary, a machine only can copy a picture rather than individual creation. When (+ it)comes to the social life, human beings have family, social circle   (社交圈是这么说的?赐教)and friendship-all of these are connected by human nature, that is love.

(这两个词是否能搭配,就像说fast speed一样) A computer can deal with numerous data which must be (must have been) finished by human beings for several days in a few minutes perfectly and memorize various information no matter what time and in which place   (罗嗦,when and where)it is. In the past time, Columbus used  (不地道)6 months to travel from Portugal (忘了老哥是从西班牙还是从葡萄牙出发的了 :D )  to America, while people can travel around the world by airplane in one day(好像漏了限定,是在现在,而且现在一天飞机环游世界也不可能吧). Faced with those improvements, it is impossible to deny the superior intelligence of machine for its limitless ability and breath-taking efficiency..

Understandably, the machine would never transcend human mind in the term of independent (independence)and creative ideas because it comes from human beings and also be  (is)controlled by us. Nevertheless, advanced technology leads the society into unprecedented improvement so that people have no excuse to overlook the special ability of machine in some cases.

and expeditious speed.
