An effective education should be an education which takes up least time from student and at same time inculcates they with as more as possible knowledge. Does truly effective education must be served to meet different individual needs or interests as speaker asserts? Although I agree with that education should has some selectivities rather than compulsory one uniforming our children like merchandizing monotonous product without personalities, and also not one totally are free so that fails to convey those basic virtue and knowledge on which our culture rest

As a saying said "the best teacher is interesting," A free and effective learning decides (cast, determine) its education should allow its students to unconfined select their curricula according to their personal beliefs and interests. That is to say, someone good at chorus, fiddle, or oboe can be allowed to concentrate in the domain of music and not necessary to take in some natural sciences. As for students devoted to mathematics are likely to be not compelled to participate curricula such as pottery, paintings, or music if they are thoroughly disinteresting in those courses presented above.

After all, only if students learn curricula in which they indeed find their interesting and some magic force grasping their soul and heart, their likely learn maximal knowledge in minimal time In some cases, they are so charmed by mathematics or music that they tent to use almost lifetime in it while an uniform curriculum authorities set up may be counterproductive.

This assumption above is somewhat tempting to believe that a selective education can mold qualified students for this modern society. However, insofar as I see, this institution has its limit companying with an important caveat that arbitrary selectivity of education without any restriction might lead to a dilettante in many disciplines rather than a well-rounded qualified employee or workers for nowadays society which has its characteristic. To look further, with the more and more sophisticated relation between every discipline, people tent to master a basic technical and basic value philosophy for our society which deserve us to understand not only the domain you feel interesting but some liberal arts for natural students and natural arts are vice versa. Consider an artist who totally unaware of fundamental knowledge of electricity in 21-century society or who is astonish for meteorologists who can precisely predict the weather of tomorrow is mournful No mention that the interdisciplinary domain of business, computer engineering, and physician which in all likelihood demand a varieties of knowledge to be applied within many aspects of domain mentioned above.

Therefore, it is necessary for us to consider to design education which consists of core curricula to teach student with basic value system such as tolerance and respect for others, and fundamental skills and technical demanded by modern life. The rest of education would be up to students according to their personalities and idiosyncrasy.

To sum up, the speaker statement might easily pose a cripple education failing to develop qualified student in this society. Instead, an education which partly circumscribe student’s selectivities, and partly give out freedom will be a wholesome one.

写之前列个提纲,把自己要举的例子也写上去,可能会更好一点。

总体感觉不错,但语言似乎还应再推敲一下,限时写的吗?

Currently, there is a controversy over the issue of whether education should be specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each student. While I concede that it is an effective way to well develop the talent of the students through such specific classes, however, the speaker overemphasizes the significance of students' characteristics thus unfairly ignores the benefits brought by identical curriculum. In my opinion, education will function better when offering both compulsory courses and optional ones left for students to choose.

Admittedly, courses that are designed for individuals are quite helpful for them to master the knowledge as well as develop the personality. For example, when learning English, students of the same level in one class are likely to have much progress since the teacher can teach what they are short of. On the contrary, students of different levels learning together would receive much less because the teacher is hardly able to meet everyone's needs, which is not suitable for an effective study. Furthermore, when students are taught the courses specifically prepared for them, they will be more interested and learn much under such special attention.

However, in spite of much benefits of this kind of educational system, it still has some limitations thus cannot full fill the purpose of the education. One of the purposes is to perpetuate the human civilization by informing as many people as possible of the knowledge as well as the essence of the culture, which is not likely to be true under specific class for each student because of the limited teachers and teaching resources. Especially in college or university when the teachers have to face various students, their main task should be to share their own knowledge and experience with them rather than to care about each student's situation, which seems to be more effective. Besides, studying the same course with other people also contributes to the development of the communicating skills, cooperative spirit and so on, all of which are necessary ability to survive in the society.

Nevertheless, in order to ensure the effects of the education to every student, educators should make every effort to care about their students. Optional courses offered in the university are helpful to meet their personal interests since they can choose what they like to study. Small classes including students of similar levels bring convenience to teachers to better help them master the knowledge. Moreover in most cases when students benefit from competition and collective study in compulsory courses, personal guide is necessary to identify themselves. In this case, tutorial system sets a good example. Valuable suggestions are provided by adviser specifically for the individual student, which help them make wise decision for their future.

To sum up, specifically designed classes for individual student can be effective to meet their interests and well master the knowledge, but it is far from what the education really advocates. According to the given facts, both general courses and specific care are needed in a real effective educational system. Therefore, certain balance should be stricken to care about the development of knowledge as well as personal characteristics.

整篇文章再加点例子就更好了。我个人觉得issue文章,还是有一些承启的信号词比较好(将就一下老外吧),看起来能让人更一目了然!
