词语搭配、词性转换与近义词（作文课活动）
本帖最后由 tesolchina 于 2018-7-12 16:15 编辑本帖原标题为SKELL找不到的搭配组合，旨在收集范文里出现但SKELL找不到的单词组合。上周的实践显示，很多时候SKELL里找不到的组合在谷歌学术里可以找到，因此，用SKELL来判断不恰当的组合并不合适；但是，反过来讲，SKELL仍不失为通过搭配拓展词汇的好工具。
现将本帖改为收集词汇搭配、词性转换与近义词的专用帖。大家回帖的时候需要提供一个关键词、一个拓展词、一个句子语境和一个工具使用分享。以下是说明和示范：
1. 关键词：即学习词汇的起点，通常是在自己的习作或者范文里选中的一个单词
2. 拓展词：从关键词拓展获得的单词，可能是近义词(WordNet)、搭配词（SKELL)或者同根词(Word Family Framework)。
3. 句子语境：关键词所来自的句子，请注明习作或范文（范文请提供URL）。
4. 工具使用分享：简单分享自己使用工具的过程或体会。

拓展词：design
句子语境：Since students from the disadvantaged school districts will be studying the same curriculum as those from schools bestowed with more resources, it is possible for the schools in the less developed regions to re-use lesson plans and other teaching materials developed elsewhere. 工具使用分享：通过SKELL，发现curriculum经常做design的宾语，以后可以考虑在文章中多用 reform和implement也不错。
注意大家在拓展词汇前要先看看已有的回帖，避免重复。

Preserve peace可以找到 但是并没有preserve order 的用法 （我查找了preserve和order两个词，均没有找到此用法）。建议可以换成preserve peace and maintain order. ISSUE28： 范文第二段中：As a result, the government could afford generous welfare programs that guarantee the quality of life of its citizens.
其中 afford generous welfare programs: afford programs 没有找到这样的用法， 建议可以使用 offer generous welfare programs. issue84 范文 bringing great economic prosperity
