Job Description:A part-time TA position for the Marketing Management course (MBA level) to track student class participation
Notes:
1. Your major task is to track student participation (i.e., mainly keeping a track of which student said what).
2. Completing other tasks (e.g., assignment grading, assistance in research projects) may be requested only if the TA has extra time (and ability).
3. The TA will have an exclusive opportunity to listen to intellectually stimulating class discussions and lectures.
4. Outstanding TA may be offered with further part-time TA-ship or full-time RA-ship to assist the faculty members.
Qualifications:
1. The time availability:
Should be available from 8:50am – 15:30pm (excluding the lunch time between 12:30 pm and 14:00pm) on the following 14 class dates:
1) August 19, 21, 26, 27, 29
2) September 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 17, 20, 23, 27 (note: for sept 9, the class is between 8:50am – 12:30pm and 15:55-17:30)
2. English proficiency
Should be proficient in English so thats/he can follow the class discussion and keep track of student comments.
3. Punctuality and diligence
1) Lateness to class cannot be tolerated.
2) The candidate is expected to send in the class participation record in a timely fashion and encouraged to communicate with the professor on regular basis about the general status of the sessions and report any irregularitiess/he notices during sessions.
