Issue10 政府支持大城市保存文化传统 高频 写得超烂无比 求砖

唉,严重超时,连自己都不知道在说什么,大家帮着看看呀
10 Governments must ensure that their major cities receive the financial support they need in order to thrive, because it is primarily in cities that a nation's cultural traditions are preserved and generated.

Should the government ensure the financial support major cities need for preserving the nation's cultural traditions? My answer is yes, since the major cities are the center of arts, economics and academics, though there may be some problems about only ensuring the major cities.

To begin with, celebrities, including famous artists, scientists and economists, are more likely to live in the big cities for its convenient transportation or developed research environment. They gather around the major cities and therefore the mainstream of the culture is here too. Take the capital of France-Paris for example. It is well-known for its artistic atmosphere and lots of artists come to Paris pursuing the dream of art in their heart. The Louver Museum is just the symbol of the utmost of art. And these artists affect the city of Paris leading it to be a city that is fraught with artistic breath. To preserve the cultural tradition, how can the French government neglect offering the support to it? Moreover, these celebrities usually are the ones who bring the big event and who can influence the history. Thus, if the government can make sure this kind of cities are receiving the sufficient need in order to thrive, the mainstream of the culture are getting easy to be preserved.

Another compelling reason for ensuring the financial support for the major cities is that with these support it will infuse the new vigor into the cities and stimulate the development of the city. Common sense informs me that more financial support will be conductive for the developing of a city. The fast the city progresses, the more likely for it to attract the new elements for further development. In the meanwhile, the original culture will be complemented and it will surely leads to the diversification of the culture. Then the government can achieve the goal that the nation's cultural traditions are generated.

Though it is true that the traditional culture are preserved and generated from the financial support provided by the government, some of the traditions only found in non-major cities may probably get lost. Some local customers such as setting up fireworks in rural place of China come immediately to mind. There is a tradition passed down from thousands years ago, which scares the monsters away by setting up fireworks when a new year comes. In big cities nowadays, it is forbidden because of the potential danger on fire. Consider if the government neglects the support for the tradition of fireworks in the county places, maybe several decades after the children would only listen to the stories about these festival fireworks and no one knows the origin of this customer. In short, the traditions in the small towns or the villages are as important as the ones in main cities of the nation and the government should not forget to preserve them.

In sum, it is a good way to preserve the nation's cultural tradition through offering major cities financial support. Nevertheless, the tradition not only exists in these cities, but also is alive in the small villages all around our country. Thus, the better way for us to do is get balance in giving support to the cities and the small towns.
