"would that+ 从句' 是固定用法， 和虚拟语气倒装没关系。

个人认为"would that+..." 后面的从句表达一种惋惜=已经不能实现的愿望=与事实相反的愿望，英语中这样“愿望”的时态都要比“事实”[color=Red]过去[/color]一个时态X E5e
