Some argue that a qualified supervisor should lead by examples so that he or she is influential to the employees; others advocate the ability of tolerance to pressure lies in the recognition that since a supervisor could not endure stress, how can devote the energy and passion to work. In order to manage the staff effectively and efficiently, a good supervisor should know what the staff are thinking so that appropriate action will be taken as a response to staff’s thoughts. A new survey conducted by the experts from Nanjing University indicates that popular among the staff are supervisors who are capable of forecasting the staff’s thoughts. Since the employees are satisfied with those empathetic leaders, isn’t it undeniable that it will bring about effectiveness and efficiency, which will of course benefit the company.

Humor, which is essential to supervisors, can create an easy atmosphere and will wipe out the pressure that always causes mental disease among modern workers. Furthermore, humorous supervisors make themselves outgoing and can build a harmonious relationship between their staff and themselves in their work environment.
