“Turing Test”, an experiment as the reading material states to prove that computers could think, however, is used for contradicting this idea by the lecturer. For the lecture points out that this test is only prove the behavior of the computers rather than thinking. The experiment as the reading passage describe that people in one room interact computers which are in another room, people ask questions, then receive answers from computers. Quite in contrary, the lecturer gives us an example that, an Eglish speaking will not understand a Chinese reference until he is provided with some relevant materials, this is to say that if a computer is provided with a designed program, then it will naturally output the “behacior”, which is answering the question from the people. In this way, the lecturer claims that the “Turing Test” could not prove that computers could think.

So, the contents in the reading passage, albeit well-presented, are totally jeopardized by the lecturer who has different idea on the topic made in the passage, which is far from persuasive as it stands.

Which of the following study method do you prefer? Though online courses or be in traditional classroom setting? And state your reasons.
W~%Y"hkbbs.gter.netWell, weighing the two studying method, I would prefer online course rather than in traditional classroom settings for the following reasons. Firstly, by online courses we study more directly for we could acquire the knowledges we want as soon as possible, while in tradidonal one we may waste many time. Secondly, online courses will provide vivid learning materials such as colorful photos and euphonious sounds which could not only benefits our understanding but also cultivate our interests in studying as well.

(最好用一般现在时来说,口语中的基本语法错误比较多,要注意,两条理由的称述比较充分,结构尚可)
