Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? All students should be required to study art and music in secondary school. Use specific reasons to support your answer

Nowadays there is a public concern under debate about that whether should all students be required to study art and music in secondary school or not. In my opinion, it is indeed necessary to teach those students something about art and music for the following reasons.

Firstly, studying art and music in secondary school will benefits to the students themselves much. For both art and music feed students’ imagination, help them express themselves and make them become sublimately. Music is another language to express human feeling profoundly and art is another window to exhibit the world naturely.Through learing the course, students will graduallt understand that those beautiful and saint things are not far away, it may not always be music other people want to hear or art others will appreciate, but the activity itself is enjoyable.

Moreover, in this era of rapid social development in all aspects of life, people are getting rich and high in material level while still be in a low and poor level in spirit life, some people even define that we are in the crisis of spirit. Thus getting educated in artistic way is necessary for teenagers, who will present and built up what the future will be. What’s more, these students will probablt talk about what they learned in art calss with their parents, then the young ones mat influnce the adults more or less and the latter may also get cultivated artisticly, that will bring positive effect to the whole society.

All in all, by studying art and music in high school, students begin to understand themselves as well as theirown culture and other cultures. What could have more value than that?

Well, in my opinion, universities should be free to all students for education is a basic responsibility of each government and being educated is also a basic right of all stufents who are qualified to enter to universities. It is common to see many excellent students have to leave schools because their familied could afford them, and that will be a great loss to both universities and the whole society. If universities could be free to students, there would be more people get high educated, that will finally benefits those students and the nation as well.
