anyone please help me out with some really silly questions regarding UK visa.
1. I just checked on line, does China accept ON LINE application now????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. If i am planning going to UK in Oct, I can't apply before July right???

and i think now the new system said you have to book appointment etc, pretty confusing?  is it becuz of the earthquake???

you need to make appointment so as to deliver your documents to the "visa centre".
It is irrelvant to the earthquake - the process has been in effect for almost 2 years. (i think)

1. I don't think you can apply online - you have to physically show up to hand in the documents.

2. Yes i think you can apply visa no more than 3 months prior to your departure date.

u have to book appointment online and then go to submit your supporting documents to visa officers (assistants) in Beijing or other cities in China.

So basically I book on line when I should hand in the docs IN PERSON (possibly to Beijing)

then do they normally have a  follow up interview or NOT likely?????

Cuz I am flying back from Canada to Beijing, then after the process I will be going back to my hometown, therefore I dont' know if i should plan on staying in Beijing for quite a while to wait for interview??  ANY SUGGESTION??

The june appointment for Beijing is already full, does anyone know normally when will they open up July's appointment?

oh, sorry and one more thing, on the website, it said that we should also include our diploma in the application package, does it need to be original?
