赫然惊现宿舍 Morrison Hall 的 offer
内容主要是：
1.
住宿时间是 2008年8月底到2009年5月底
好bt啊 不知道6月怎么办了。。。
2.If you accept the offer, please

所以还没申请到的战友别灰心，我可能只是第一批。
之后应该还有的。

2008 医学院MPhil
第一志愿是Morrison Hall
备注：
前几天被叫去7月15号以前要补上材料
急急忙忙的在截止日期起前传真过去后
1. 很可能是7月15号是宿舍申请截止日期。
2. 申请材料外 还询问为什么要申请该间宿舍。
把理由写好了 发给

》谁能申请？
网上说要有正式offer才能申请，但是这样对应届生很不利。
1.有人说con offer也能申请，因为主要是看学号
不过目前还没看到 申请成功的战友。有的话 请跟帖 谢谢。
2.CEDARS的officer说他们会跟grad school确认说该生有没有正式offer。
两种说法提供给大家参考，随时更新。

》如何申请？
我是4月底收到的offer
随即申请宿舍visa等等
PG能申请的宿舍有Graduate House, Morrison Hall, Pokfield Road Residences, St. John’s College 共四家Halls。
1.网上申请，网址是
http://apps.cedars.hku.hk/pg_housing/
这里还有详细的申请instruction.
2.补充材料：
-Grad House要蛮多的, 除了offer letter,还要其他admission criteria的证明
(基本上把申请时的那堆补充材料机过去)
-其他Hall 只需要把 offer letter (“Notice of Admission”) 传真/email 过去
-如果住家庭式 请记得把Copy of marriage certificate 附上。
#每份材料右上方要注明 “Application for Postgraduate Housing”
##可以把材料扫描然后用email发过去 节省成本+时间。
### 记得要把材料传真或email过去 不然Your application will not be processed without the required supporting document(s).
之后就迈入漫长的等待期
值得注意的是
论坛有人说可以写信给他们
个人觉得没必要
偶还因为曾经写过一封陶瓷信 回复很长 意思是说
别认为跟他们混熟 就可以拿到宿舍offer。。暴汗。。
个人觉得也是，毕竟香港是个法治的社会，办事都有一定的程序的。
(像走后门习惯的战友 的确要有新的心态了)

》FAQ(从QQ群收集到比较多人问到的问题)
1. 有朋友问到 过了截止(7/15) 之后不能申请嘛？
感谢校友流氓兄亲自到GH问过了 的确15号截止。 个人觉得反正申不申都没坏处，而且申请了说不定能上别人家拒掉的offer。
2.Morrison 不是有interview吗？
是的，但是可能考虑到我们不方便 所以让我们在截止日期前 发个申请宿舍原因的说明。
3.结果会什么时候出来？
Morrison 会比较早出来，7月中下旬。
其他的话一般都是在8月初左右。
PFR 说如果开学前3周没收到通知 就等于默拒。
4.租房一般多少钱？
如果真的申请不到就赶紧联系租房吧， 做个广告 ->

价格方面.. 大致来说2房或3房
每间房平均分大概是HKD 2500-3500 少数比较贵的会上4000。
有人想要弄上下铺 节省开支。我觉得看了房后再决定，
毕竟大部分的房间都很小，只能容纳一张床+一条很小的通道，顶多塞个衣柜如此而已。
