学校的招生网站上贴着PHD的要求：In addition to requirements listed above, applicants are usually required to hold a master's degree with at least a 3.5 grade-point average, and must submit evidence of substantive research in the form of a published paper, thesis chapter, or equivalent documentation. Exceptions to these guidelines may be considered for students whose records show other indications of unusual promise.意思是不是要有硕士学位才能申请PHD啊？这就不明白了，本科就不能申请了？？
