Cars are becoming more and more common to Chinese people- both the companies and the private car numbers are increasing year by year. Will this trend continue in next 20 years? When facing to this question, some thinks the car usage will be reduced while others believe on the opposite: it will keep or even climb up. First, current society development tendency decides the increase of car ownership which will eventually cause the use of car. As a swift developing country, Chinese family's income still has potential increase room. In the same time, attributes to the economy globalization and the fierce competence in the automobile market, the mid-end and low-end car price is keep decreasing. Taking account of this combination situation, it is not difficult to conclude that- the entry gate for car purchase is deduced, in other words, more and more families can or will be able to afford a car - or even several cars. Compared with the US or other developed countries, our car market has not reach its saturation point yet. In this sense, in the next 20 years, the increasing purchase will prevent the car usage from falling down.bbs.gter.netAG(ZX%?

In the second place, the states emphasis on road construction will stimulate the car usage. Compared to other transportation tool, automobile has its own advantages. It is less expensive than airplane, but with more flexibility and velocity than train and ship. Since the national government stress the importance of road construction and the intimate connection between road and local development, the further investment on road network development can be forecasted. Low car price plus a well-developed road system will probably be the image 20 years later. Imagine that if the car is only cost two months salaries and can send you to nearly everywhere if you want, and compare to other public transportation, it has more mobility and is more comfortable. Most people will choose to buy an own car, even pollution to the public and the traffic jam may be taken into concern.

The last but not least, as mentioned before, car use may meet problems such as the traffic jam, high cost of parking lot, gas and also will cause pollution. However, according to current situation, the emission standard may be enhanced to cater to the environmental requirement, new energy may emerge - the manufacturer will develop new cars for the market. To sum up, when confronting a better road network and lower price, less people will refuse to a private car ownership, and it will consequently cause the car usage in the next 20 years.
