With modern technology developingforward at a staggering rate, the educational method is being transformedunprecedentedly. Yet at the same time, controversy has arisen about whether students,with the advent of internet, should go to school for study. Some people assertthat it is not necessary to put children to school any more. From my ownperspective, I think their view is overly simplistic.

Convincing arguments can be madethat studying in school is still quite important in teaching students. To beginwith, schools play an essential role in cultivating children a strong sense ofteam spirit. Indeed, asking children to study together in a fixed classroom helpsthem to learn to collaborate and cooperate with others during the process ofsolving problem. Furthermore, assisted by extremely qualified teachers,students will definitely find it is easier to get their ideal scores. In otherwords, they can turn to their teachers for help when encounter academicproblems they cannot address themselves. Last but not least, it is anindisputable fact that currently the internet is inundated with a large numberof games and indecent materials, which would exert some unwanted unpleasantinfluence on students, especially children, if without proper supervision.

Admittedly, let children study athome may also carry some advantages. An illustration that can be made in favorof this is that they have more time to communicate with their parents,especially when both parents cannot squeeze enough time to spend with them athome. However, it is worth noting that without constant and powerfulsupervision, children are much more likely to get addicted to various computergames and easily go astray.
