Education level always reflects a country's comprehensive national power. Functionally act as the catalyst of technology and science, it is widely accepted that education especially at high level is critical for better and further development of a country. However, the debate on the basic qualification to purchase high level education never achieve conclusion.I believe high level education should only open for good students.

It is true that education should embrace people regardless of their background. However, it also means that people should master sufficient skills before entering the next level of study. Since in university, the courses are highly specified and thus demanding students possess better comprehensive ability to tackle the heavy task. Not all students are well equiped with such virtues. Even if the students lack of this ability entered the university, it will be common things that they fail in the following studying.

The education resources can't afford so many students. Soon the classroom with be overfull. And there's also conflicts between students and professors. Professors may have to adjust the courses according to the different learning ability. Finding a balance will become hard or even impossible. Good students will find courses too easy while others still claim too hard. Apparently the normal teaching schedule will be interrupted and the quality of education will diminish. People of different level should play different games so that the harmony of the university could carry on.

People set rules to guarantee the quality of students.It's not their intention to set barrier in the fairness of receiving education. Only because of the limitation of the education resources that university should open merely for good students. Nowadays many university opened free online courses to solve the problem. Maybe that's the future of university.
