比如你找人办事,上来第一句就是,hi, I want to check for my application status . 米国人就会觉得,这人好粗鲁,因为他们的习惯是,hi,how are you today? Can I check for my application status。。。
People call it a Lin-derella story, because the humble Chinese American Harvard Graduate has created a global sensation: Linsanity, both on and off the basketball court.
Lin has taken an unconventional path to the National Basketball Association. He was not a McDonald’s All-American, then a player at Kentucky, and then a first round draft pick,When people make it on an unconventional path, it gives people hope, they can apply it to their own lives.
Lin also seems to have attracted followers because so far the point guard appears almost to be a throwback to an earlier era when basketball was less star-oriented.
he is supposed to shoot, he passes when he is supposed to pass. He is very team-centered.
Even though Lin is far from perfect, he inspires me to dream.
I have so much homework due at the same time, I don't have time to read all the references. 他说,if you don't have time to do that, you don't have time not to do that.
