0803Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than a job with a high salary but less vacation time.
When it comes to the issue whether have a job with more vacation but less salary
or the one with less free time but with high salary, it's quite understandable that our opinions diverge from each other due to different experience, individual life style and conflicting perspectives. For my part, I am positively in favor of the opinion that a job with more vacation is better. I will use following to illustrate my point of view.

Obviously, a more flexible job positively plays a catalytic role in promoting relationship with friends and family as well as fellows. More vacation means you have more time to have fun with your family and friends. Nowadays people are so busy about work and study that they have little time to spend with their family and friends. If the career we doing provided us more free time, we would spend more time watching TV or going to a journey to remote areas to have fun with our family or friends. And that is the best way to enhance relationship with them.

Second point to take into account, contrary to high paid but less vacation job, the counterpart
is grossly advantageous to one`s physical fitness. The pressure today, which is from work, school or family, is more serious than ever in the past. Due to the pressure, people suffering from dangerous diseases, such as depression, which has symptoms as listlessness and need more sleep, and heard attach, which is fatal to one`s heath. If we always go to a trip with our family or go to beach with our friends to escape the difficulties from the work, we will be healthier.

Finally, vacation will improve the efficiency of work. Evidences and data from National Labor Union corroborate that workers efficiency will increase at least 3 percent after they have a pleasing vacation. The result of the survey also indicates that workers who often take a break from work will handle their relationship with their co-workers and will promote a friendly working environment

However，even Achilles heel has his weak point, more vacation means you earn less, but, with the high efficiency the worker will do more than the others. With the factors I outlined, I still have a penchant for taking a job with more vacation, which has brought us more boon than bane.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Movies and TV programs made in one’s own country are more interesting than those made in other countries.
Do you have ever seen the movie “Mr. Bean`s holiday”? Do you think that is interesting? It's quite understandable that our opinions diverge from each other due to our culture, individual life style and conflicting perspectives. For my part, I am positively in favor of the opinion that movies made in one`s own culture are more interesting than the foreign ones. I take this view on account of the following reasons.

Obviously, duo to the fact that people from different parts of the world have the diverse culture, their understanding of humor differs. Compared to the western culture, who put a high value on the humor of Mr. Bean`s movie, people in my culture, which is one of the major culture in Center Asia, thinks that most of his activities are ridicules and somehow offensive. Meanwhile, when it comes to the movie “beat me”, which is a very pleasing one made in my own country, majority of people deem that this is better than the foreign ones.

Second point to take into account, although there are subtitles, overseas movies are elusive to others especially when the language of them are not the mother language of the audience, while the native ones are very attractive and perceptible to the audience. Foreign movies may be just like a silent movie in the early twentieth century. When I was preparing the TOEFL I spent one hour every day to watch the American movie “friends”, which is very humorous and enchanting to me, but my parents contend that it means nothing to them.

However, generally speaking, one tangible benefit of foreign movies is that it plays positively play a catalytic role in promoting the understanding of other countries culture. It depicts the life in the other country in a vivid way. But, without the well grasping of the foreign language, it is reluctant for one to understand it accurately. what`s more, domestic movies pictures the daily life of native people, which are more familiar and understandable to people.

Accordingly, contributing to the cultural and linguistic differences, domestic movies are more attractive and appealing and pleasing to the native people.
