Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than a job with a high salary but less vacation time.
There is a drastic debate on the issue about which is better, a job with high salaries or with low salaries but long vacation time. As the old saying goes, every sword has its two sides of blades. It is hasty to merely judge which is better. As for me, I derive my happiness from an occupation with long vacation time, in spite of low salaries. Thus, I generally agree with the standpoint that a job with more vacation but a low salaries is better.
Numerous people hold the view that salary is the main factor which need to take into account during an employment. First, money will guarantee people's basic life for that they can purchase daily necessities: food, clothes, electronic goods and so forth. For people who base their happiness on substantial condition, this kind of job will undoubtedly is the optimal choice.
However, I need to state that money is nonsense without time to appreciate the happiness it brings. For example, a CEO has a sustainable job with a highest salary in the company. But he can just frowns when his daughter asks him out and have a family barbecue in national parks because he can not afford to waste mere one hour. But every ordinary workers do have the freedom to spend their holiday, sitting in a restaurant, eating yummy seafood and viewing the striking coastline. In this case, a high salary can only bring about a fade in relationship and a unhappy daytime.
Furthermore, low salaries is not so unacceptable as many people think. A recent survey conducted by a group of sociologists in Tsinghua University reveals that companies, whose salaries are comparatively lower, will have less competition among their employees. Also, position involves with low salaries and well-being will be easier and more comfortable to tolerate. Take the example of the CEO above. The CEO will have numerous rivals in the economic marketing. Once he make an unforgivable, perhaps only a little one, will lead to the bankruptcy of the company and lots of workers will lose their jobs. So stressful and unsustainable the burden is that he can not put it down and enjoy the vacation with his family member, even if there is one.
Finally, I need to reinstate my opinion that jobs involves long vacation and low salaries is better than the opposite to a remarkable extent. As for me, I really like to appreciate the ease tempo of life: lying in the Florida coast, soaking in the sunshine and chatting with my boyfriend. For one thing, low salaries, at least, will prevent me from starvation, satisfactorily enough.
