Do you agree with the following statement? Children should only study or play and don’t have to do household chores.

I understand that people who hold this opinion may think parents should not put too much burdens on children, but I still high recommend that children should learn to do some household works.

In the first place, learn to do household works can prevent children from losing the basic ability of take care of themselves. There are some Chinese families which parents never spare any household work to their kids, they help children arrange everything from clean the room to fold the clothes. It seems like they cover all the household works for the wish that their children could concentrate their mind in study and get into a famous university eventually. But turns out even the children finally get the admission of a university, their weak ability of taking care of themselves make the college life not so smoothly. Therefore, in case of children become genius who cannot survival without others look after them, parents should give some household work to them.

Secondly, learn to help parents do housework would cultivate children being thoughtful. Why? if parents cover all the things in the home, children will take it for granted, they just thought they have a whole day classes but don’t realize their parent's also work all day and very tired. if parents let their children help do some things like clean the table, wash dishes, hang clothes to dry; not only parents would felt more comfortable but also children learned how to take care of themselves. What's more, through doing all these work together, during which they could chatting things in the school or work, their relationships can get even closer. Thus, children become considerate, parents put down some loan, and housework can bring about harmonious family relationships.

In a word, let children learn to do household works and occasionally have a hand in definitely benefit both kid and parents.

1 Do you agree with the following statement? It was easier to achieve

success in the past than it is today.

Along with the steps of society's progress, human's knowledge accumulated, and scope being broaden as well. Therefore, I don't think life now is harder than that in the past.

First of all, people living in the past have natural weakness no matter from the physical conditions or thoughts. Many things we take for granted today may hard as a dream to reach. For example, they were not likely to eat fresh fruits transport from thousands miles away which will get spoiled soon in the time with without fridge and plane. Furthermore, People living in the past completely have no idea what the Earth looks likes seeing from the universal. The un-developed technology and un-advanced knowledge determines It would be much difficult for people in the past manage to success in things which may seems quite easy today. Like to send a message to anywhere now, all one need to do is make a call or send a e-mail, using time not more than one minute. But in the past, to convey information in time, would take a several days riding on the way.

What's more, on the other hand, we human now mastered all kinds of high-tech equipment, and our scope is broaden, dramatically developing speed
in these years also indicate we are experiencing unprecedented success of human history. If the statement that to achieve success is easier than today is right, then our society may find that to get progress in an even more heavy steps now. However, it turns out that after human take hundreds of years to got into the era of mechanization, while not more than thirty years to convert to a Internet era. Thus, I have to say, we never lead a harder life than the people who living in the past. Success now seems more accessible than considering the fast-pace life as well as sound socio-economic system.

Seeing from the discussions above, we can draw a safely conclusion that the assertion regarding living in the past is easier to success is unreasonable.
