我想问一下，Canada top 4指的是UBC，Toronto，queen's 和 Western Ontorio吗？看了一下Toronto的MA，似乎只有doctoral stream的给奖，不知道往年大家都是申的哪个？拿奖的机会大吗？而且项目只有8个月，似乎申博士时间太紧张了啊
另外，Alberta怎么样呢？

Yes, mean these four. and indeed if you look into the research rankings, most likely these 4 are way ahead of remainings....

for Toronto, i guess people interested in PhD will apply doctoral stream.....at least still have chances for normal MA if failed in the doctoral stream.......
but as far as i heard from various source, canadian university have really limited intake for international students

1 year (or even 8 month) program is indeed a concern.....that means you have one semester of grade, one semester of time to find reference and etc.... but this is very common in UK, Canada, and also for some US one.

南开的校友啊，申TSE的话可以联系我。

一般来说，南开的同学缺好的推荐信，所以你要去美国读PHD的话最好在美国读硕士，比如duke。

来欧洲top的话学一两年很多人就没动力在申请了，一是老师本身都很厉害，二是去美国top20确实很难。

你的背景申TSE M1没问题，申M2 ETE也有希望。现在M2 ETE进来不太容易，但是比较好留下来读博。

in general the HR /the recuirting team會先screen 一次CV

對fresh vraduate來說，沒有比實習經驗(for academics this is research assistant) ，和學校很重要的了。
扉謂recuirtment target就是公司會去job talk和重點招聘的學校，而不同行業這個target u list都會略有不同。
being in the list for banking and finance (not onlt italy but also london office) bocconi is definitly one of the place that wont need to worry too much about job hunting even for private sector (不過沒visa照樣頭痛得很 - 不過總比可能連interview都沒有好得多……)

to be more accurate i mean CV screening..

對fresh vraduate來說，沒有比實習經驗(for academics this is research assistant)，和學校很重要的了。 (assume match of the displine first for sure)

所謂recuirtment target就是公司會去job talk和重點招聘的學校，而不同行業這個target u list都會略有不同。 (for academic, they will look more into GPA in additional; reference letter is simple like internal reference for private sector.)
