学校背景：本科：双非二本院校四川师范，专业广播电视编导：
            研究生：UAB USnews全球200 美国151 专业MBA
目标专业：management science 或者phd in business administration之类的Phd
成绩：本科WES给2.49，
      在美MBA的GPA4.0
课程：本科课程全是艺术类，类似灯光化妆之类，研究生课程：标准MBA课程中级经济会计数据分析
                                                                                 供应链管理信息管理等全部4.0
GT：GRE一战 155+168+3.0 托福准备waive 还没考

科研：无。。。
获奖：无。。。
推荐信：学术：美国的mba的教授，教数据分析，不是大牛，但经常发发文章啥的
         工作：埃森哲高管和本土某信息管理公司董事各一份

实习经历：1.本科时在本土的一个信息管理公司工作工作两年多，做到分公司产品经理头头，主导了4到5个项，和他们领导比较玩的熟，给了一份情真意切推荐信;
2.在埃森哲实习一年，被调派在中石油做信息变革管理，做的项目还是不错算的上是示范级项目。

其他就没有啥了，在美国的时候，被收到了一个啥学术成绩前百分之十的兄弟会

现在非常想申请一个PhD 继续读不知道有没有一丁点的可能呢
好纠结，因为本科实在太失败了，每天都好懊悔，求大神给指条明路。

Make sure that you know what a PhD in Management Science (or any other business discipline) means. My suggestion is to find at least 10 papers published in top journals (you should do some research to find out what journals are considered "top". E.g. in the area of Management Science/Operations Management, "top journals" are Management Science, Operations Research and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.) recently, read all of them, and estimate the possibility of generating a similar research by yourself. Be honest. Then you will know whether you want a PhD. PhD is ALL about research. Working experience will be a plus, but strong technical skills and a passion for research are far more important (which means, you'd better have at least 2 academic reference letters).

BTW, "Business Administration" is not a PhD major. And "Management Science" is very different from "Management".

P.S. In my PhD program (Operations Management and Information Systems), there is only 1 student with an MBA degree. He is American, and he did his undergrad in Stanford. More importantly, he got reference letters from our department chair when he did his MBA. That's why he got in. All other students either come directly from undergrad (vast majority), or have completed their masters, usually in technical fields like Statistics. And the most common undergrad majors are Economics, Math and Computer Science. In other disciplines like Marketing, a background in Psychology might also be useful.

Also, most graduate schools will require a minimum undergrad GPA of 3.0 out of 4.

Dude I really appreciate you sincerely helpful respond ,but we are not probably in a same page, I truly did some researches before I made up my mind to find a career that I can learn and grow into, and business administration in nowadays could be a PhD major in some schools, which can be found in almost any type of business schools. And I am not quite understand why you are implying that MBA is not valuable, because some of those school would just say that MBA is preferable but not required.
Anyway what I am worried about is my undergrad GPA, but I also confusing whether it would be a deadly problem as I was in a totally irrelevant field, again thanks for your advice, I definitely will go over more than 10 publications before making a final decision.

Well you definitely can do a PhD in business schools, but you have to specify a major, like Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, etc. This is what I mean. Maybe you don't have to specify a major when you apply to the MBA, but you have to do so when you apply to PhD programs. (From your description I can barely see your research in business PhD programs.)

MBA is valuable. However, I'd like to remind you that MBA is very different from PhD. PhD is not an "advanced MBA". (It's a common misunderstanding of business PhD programs. If you are looking for an "advanced MBA", take a look at DBA programs instead.) It's totally different. 99% of what you learned in MBA is useless in PhD programs. The value of MBA lies in your "business sense" (and the MBA alumni network: it might be easier for you to get data from your fellow MBA students), instead of "knowledge". And honestly the most important things in application are reference letters, undergrad GPA and research experience. Working experience and MBA are "preferred but not required".

For your concern about your background, I'd cite a paragraph from the website of our program: "Applicants are expected to have completed introductory courses in economics and mathematics. Successful applicants typically possess a strong analytical background and an aptitude for analytical thinking." Lack of business knowledge is not a problem (and you have an MBA!). Don't worry about that. But what you have to show to them is your aptitude of analytical thinking.

I forgot to mention that the typical career path for a business PhD is to become a professor. Do you want to be a professor?

DBA比PhD更适合题主，但是很多DBA要求非常丰富的工作经验（几乎是升级版的EMBA）。不要求很多工作经验的DBA接近PhD（如Harvard Business School DBA）。而且我猜题主有了MBA之后再去读DBA在职场上的竞争力提升有限？其实MBA在大多数时候已经是商科的最高的专业学位，应该是够用了，DBA非常非常小众。

You are likely going to struggle in a management science Ph.D. program - not because of your undergrad GPA, but the lack of quantitative background. You need to have at least 2-3 semesters of calculus, linear algebra, and preferably a math analysis course. Also, your GRE score is not that impressive. Try get at least a 160 in verbal.
