Information gathering skills from the official website is really important.

Given that your minor is just in management, I guess you don't fulfil the basic entry requirement of this program.

Successful applicants to the M.A. program typically have a strong undergraduate academic record, especially in economic theory, statistics, and econometrics, with at least one year of calculus. Additional study of calculus and linear algebra is strongly advised.

Specific course requirements:
◾a two-semester course in Intermediate Microeconomics (equivalent to ECON 301 and 303 at UBC)
◾a one-semester course in Intermediate Macroeconomics (equivalent to ECON 302 at UBC)
◾a two-semester course in Statistics and Econometrics (equivalent to ECON 325 and 326 at UBC)
◾a two-semester course in Calculus (equivalent to MATH 104 and 105 at UBC)

Who really XXXXing care about your GRE? It wont stand you out AT ALL.
大家都知, GRE Q 是非常淺的, 就是中學水平的math.
一大堆國際生都是拿著GRE申這個master的(this is a must for them[非加本]). 你拿著加國學位是不用, 但你沒passport, 也是和這堆國際生爭的.......

有興趣人人都懂說. the key question now is:
Are you ready? Do you mean those basic requirement?
Where is your economic theory, statistics, and econometrics, and at least one year of calculus?
(this is not only UBC, but any solid academic economics master all over the world)
你要是真的對經濟有興趣的, show them your interest by your preparation.
人家問你, if you are interested in economics, why you get a minor in management instead of economics? 你要是說現在改變了主意的話, 估計是sorry you are too late.....

My advised is: go to graduate with a economics minor instead of a management one.
A economics minor is useful for graduate study in both econ and business, but the same cant be said for management.
If you have already graduated, things like this may be useful for you:

or you have to give up your plan about reading a master in economics, at least in Canada. (and EU, and those top US/UK solid program)
