Job Description:
Under the Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) (http://atmri.ntu.edu.sg/), Nanyang Technological University, you will be part of a team to work on the Multimodal Urban Air Mobility (UAM) project. Specifically, you will lead in performing the following:
(1) The study and CAE simulation on Impact of drones towards manned aircraft,
(2) The study and CAE simulation of wind effect of urban drone operations,
(3) Wake Vortex Separation of drones with static objects (for example, buildings), between drone to drone.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a relevant MSc degree in a mechanics-related discipline (civil/mechanical/aerospace engineering), applied mathematics or machine learning. An aptitude for programming is essential. The successful candidate must be able to perform independent research but also interact with others in the project team. Excellent skills in written and spoken English are required.
Preferred:
• Experience or backgrounds with Air Traffic Management
• Experience with aviation, robotics engineering, computer science or math fields
• Pay close attention to details; rigorous on output and presentation
• Experience in operating and flying drone will be a great asset
• Exhibit friendly and professional demeanor
