宾大的我是先网申了一下，假装一个推荐人写了评价，之后形成了一个pdf。。。
是不是有些学校是需要这样的呢

难道不是这样的么，不过别的学校都是要的，或者找的，有的时候不知道找的是不是正好那个系的，反正表上也没说明白

问他家小秘要的，回信如下

As indicated in our online application instructions, we much prefer that letters of recommendation will be submitted to us via the method that has been set up within the online process.  If your letter writers have great difficulty with submitting their letters online, they can submit them in paper form.  Note that you will still need to indicate the names of your letter writers in the online form that you complete (page 2 of the form itself).

I'm attaching the paper form that we would ask your recommender(s) to use if they will not submit a letter online.  Note that there is a small portion at the top of the form that is to be completed and signed by you.

The letters of recommendation are not to be seen by you – the comments that are written by your recommenders are intended to be confidential comments from the recommenders to our school.  If each of your letter writers gives you their letter in a sealed envelope, you can collect the set of 3 letters and send them to us in a single packet along with any other items you want to send.
