有Option A普通和Option B (primarily for those interested in pursuing a PhD)
看到版上似乎聊这家的信息不多，就给那个叫Robert Goldfarb的发了邮件问了一些信息：
1.What is the target or feature of this program in your school, set like a gangway for PhD pursuit or career oriented in industry/private section?IT CAN SERVE EITHER PURPOSE Could you share me with the placement record of the program in the past years? WE DO NOT COLLECT THIS INFORMATION. HOWEVER, MANY OF THE STUDENTS ARE NOT US CITIZENS, AND RETURN TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY
2.If I would like to pursue a PhD after completion of the Master's program, I wonder whether your program is a wise choice? WHY NOT ENROLL DIRECTLY IN A PH D PROGRAM. OUR MA IS A GOOD PREREQUISITE FOR OUR PH.D PROGRAM, BUT HOW OTHER SCHOOL PH.D. PROGRAMS WOULD VIEW IT IS UNKNOWN TO ME. YOU WOULD HAVE TO ASK THEM
3.I would like to take courses like Real Analysis or PhD section core courses（Micro, Macro, Mathematics, Econometrics) THE REQUIRED COURSES IN THE MA PROGRAM ARE PH.D COURSESto prepare for my future PhD study, is there any restriction or requirement on this? If any, would you describe them in detail?
4.If I would like to find jobs in private sectors like financial institutions, can I choose my elective courses about Finance, Accounting rather than concerning Economics NO
5.What is the current size of the program? How many students entered your program in 2010? Would the large size hamper the interaction between students and faculty? WE TYPICALLY GET BETWEEN 6 AND 12 NEW MA STUDENTS EACH YEAR
6.Is there any financial aid such as full or part tuition waiver available after I enter this program? THERE IS NO FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE
7.What is the usually duration,5 SEMESTERS overall tuition fee and expected living expense in this program?
个人感觉是不是这家作为PhD跳班挺适合的？因为好像课程都是PhD level的...
