Congrats! I have a special feeling toward Yale although I have never attended the school. My dad was accepted to their program back when he was young, but he picked a program ranked much lower because the other school offered more money. Once upon a time, when I was young, I told him that one day I would go to Yale given that money is no longer a concern. I never did, so maybe when I have kids, perhaps one of them can attend. 哈!

That's a really interesting story haha. I'm surprised Yale didn't match the offer for your dad. But everything works out in the end apparently. I read some of your posts. I would say I'm kind of your admirer haha
