I believe we can not say a teacher good or bad by evaluatingthe performance of his/her students. Teacher is, as we all known, one of themost awesome occupation in society. They have the responsibilities to educatechildren how to behave correctly and what they need to know necessarily. Theyplay an significant role of illuminating students to say what they think, to dowhat they like to do. So that's the reason why a majority of kids are the hopeof our future society, not only for a nationwide but for the whole world.

That's why we pay quite a sum of money to our teachers, nomatter in private school or public ones, in elementary campus or highercolleges. They take the job to cultivate kid's imagination, to develop theirperspective of value, to spread wisdom to them, and even create new meaningfulthoughts to help students. Teachers' value can hardly be measured by the amountof money. Obviously, they are doing one of the most glorious job in oursociety, sacrifizing their time, energy, and life to help many studentsbecoming better and better.

We can't not arbitrarily judge a teacher good or bad simplyby his or her students performance. Firstly, a teacher might have a lot ofstudents. Maybe some kids behave very good, some are really annoying. But evenif we would like to pay a teacher's salary according to his or her students,it's not fair to evaluate him or her only by some of their students. We have totake a sufficient number of students and see what is the average level of theirperformance. It could be a very heavy and difficult work. that's the firstreason why I would say we can not judge a teacher good or bad by testing howwell their students do. In another aspect, many teachers also devote themselvesinto education career. For one thing they spend a lot of time to pour theknowledge into students' brains, making them to learn as much as possible. Foranother, they constantly lead our kids to a correct way to do good to oursociety, not to commit into crimes. This is really a great spirit of the job—teacher.So that is why we spare a lot of many in our collected tax to give them to ourrespected teachers.
So in summary, we can not pay teachers high or low only bytheir students' performance.
