我想说的是，要辛苦这次给我批改的同学了，这估计是我写的最差的一篇文章



Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? If you donot make sure other people (especially influential people or your employers)know about your strengths and accomplishments, you will never get successful inlife


If one has strengths, one should make fulluse of them. But this does not mean that one can get successful simply bymaking sure others know these strengths or accomplishments; and even othersknow nothing about one’s strengths or accomplishments, one still has the opportunityto be successful in life, because there are many other influential factors.

Admittedly, if some influential people knowyour strengths or accomplishments, they might offer you more opportunities. Butnot everyone can seize opportunities and turn opportunities into successes. Forexample, many years ago, the board of Apple saw John Sculley’s strengths andfired Steve Jobs, but Sculley did not do a good job and during the yearswithout Jobs, the whole company was in an unpleasant condition.

Even there is no people knowing yourstrengths or accomplishments, one can still get successful in life. Becausewhat really matters is whether you can use your strengths or whether you cankeep making more accomplishments. Like my sister Yo, she has a talent indesigning but she never went to a college, no company wanted to employ her, so sheopened a shop to sell dresses made by her own. She worked very hard every day. Andnow, she’s quite successful in my province and she had a few chains!

So one should have many othercharacteristics besides showing off strengths and accomplishments. Like SteveJobs, he don’t need to make sure others know his strengths, after being firedby Apple, he worked hard and again he succeeded, and been hired again by Apple.Believes, endurances and hard work are all very important.

To sum up, making sure that others knowabout your strengths and accomplishments cannot guarantee you success. Oneshould have many other characteristics to make life successful.
