The lecturer talks about why communal on-line encyclopedias are better than traditional printed one, and argues that the theory presented in the passage is inaccurate in the following aspects.
Firstly, contrary to the belief in the passage that the communal on-line encyclopedias often lack academic credentials, the lecturer states that errors in the on-line ones can be corrected easily and in time while traditional ones can not realize this function. This point directly refutes what the passage shows.
Secondly, the passage maintains that the information in on-line encyclopedias is often fabricated by vandals or hackers. However, the lecturer asserts that we can conserve those crucial information into only-read format, and can also employ someone who have some expertise to read those information on line constantly to make sure it not be altered in an undesirable way.
Finally, unlike what is said in the passage that various topics in the communal encyclopedias create a false impression whether they are import or not, the lecturer believes that the traditional ones only include some limited scopes which might not suit to the different needs of users due to the limited number of editors.

Explosive development of science and technology has been made during the past hundred years or so. When it comes to the reason of unhealthy eating habits, there are always a host of different opinions held by different individuals from different areas. Admittedly, some people would consider that advertising is a major reason of unhealthy eating habits. However, in my opinion, though advertising can account for the unhealthy eating habits, it is by no means the most important one, and the rhythm and pressure of work and the improvement of living condition bring about more possible to unhealthy eating habits, like eating fast, having no breakfast and being fussy about food.
Firstly, advertising indeed have some negative influence to people’s eating habits. For instance, many food companies invite superstar for their image representative, utilizing the star power to attract more and more consumer to purchase their product. Thus, the quality and safe of these foods will be neglected by buyers for the pursuit of their favorite stars. Accordingly, the advertising to person who is easily affected by their favorite stars is the major reason of unhealthy eating habits.
However, the formation of unhealthy eating habits may have many factors, some unhealthy eating habits, such as eating fast and having no breakfast, are formed mainly due to the quickly rhythm and pressure of their job. For example, since the enormous competition in modern society, the young are so pressures that need to spend much more time on their employment. Therefore, they may short time on their diet, or even work hard to midnight and have no time for breakfast.
In addition, with the improvement of living condition, more people have many chances to take part in party and banquet, which may cause a major reason of unhealthy eating habits. For example, common sense and experience tell us that majority of the banquet in recent society will include drinking or smoking, which is very harmful to our healthy. Also, people may overeat when these banquet offer generous diet, causing some problem in digestion.
To sum up, form the thesis discussed above we may come to a conclusion that although advertising can cause some unhealthy eating habits, it is by no means the most important one. Moreover, the cause of unhealthy eating habits is in many aspects, such as the rhythm and pressure of work and the improvement of living condition.

Explosive development of science and technology has been made during the past decades. When it comes to the improvement of salary and the change of vacation time, there are always a host of various opinions held by different people in different areas. Admittedly, some people may consider that a job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than it with a high salary but less vacation time, and other people may hold the opposite opinion. However, in my opinion, I more like a work with higher salary and more vacation time.
To begin with, higher salary will bring about a higher standard of living. For instance, when you earn much more money, you can afford to live an enormous house and drive enormous car but low salary cannot achieve it. Also, higher quality of living can be achieved by traveling all over the world, which will broaden your horizon and enrich your knowledge. Accordingly, higher salary could help us improve living quality and enjoy ourselves.
In addition, higher salary means you are pretty superior to others, and you should do something others cannot do, as a result you would make a constant progress in this competition circumstance. Common knowledge and experience tell us that higher salary always not only need you have outstanding ability, but have the ability of management. Therefore, higher salary confirms that you are exceptionally gifted and skilled, so what reason let us do like the high-wage?
At last, we aren’t necessarily in a view of that someone, owning a high salary, will have less vacation time. To take the super star for an example, it is well known that the super basketball star, like Yao Ming, playing in NBA, always have an income people can not imagine, however, with games over for the season, they will have a long vacation time and enjoy that summer.
To sum up, according to the standpoint discussed above we may come to the conclusion that not only can higher salary bring a better living condition, but bring a superiority complex. Moreover, a really better enjoyment can both own a high wage and more vacation time.
