很难理解为什么要说is prevailing，prevail不是挺好的么

你这个字多，比较啰嗦，很多东西都可以用更concise的方式写，例如这句吧
I remembered that during the time when I prepared for my College Entrance Examination in the third year of my high school, (In my last year in high school, when I prepared for the college entrance exam也一样还能concise很多）
I always read a book, the content of which is about university ranking(直接说I read a book about the ranking of universities不就行了。。）, disseminated from my high school which strongly recommend（应该加s吧，另外感觉也很啰嗦。。。） this book for the reason that it could help students justify（justify这个词用错了，你查下字典） which university is best suited to the capacity of examinees reflected from their score of College Entrance Examination（又是很啰嗦的从句，表达的意思不多但是字很多，ft）.
