Icc有专门的internship advisor帮你找实习，Upenn也有Career Services，心理咨询中心帮你做性格就业测试，找工作面试准备。因为美国的培养模式就是--人是可教化的，可改进的。所以你的学费大部分用来养一帮乐意帮你的专业人士了，我是说各方面。下面是ICC学生的内部材料，可以叫 “学姐学长的出路以及他们是如何做到的” 注意大部分是native。我认为，中国学生克服语言障碍之后完全可以做到。Hope it helps

1) Higher Education Management

January Stayton after graduating in 2005 worked for the Office of International Programs at theUniversity of Pennsylvania

Emily Sheesly after graduating in 2005 worked for the Office of International Programs at theUniversity of Pennsylvania

Christina Rodriguez upon graduating in 2006 became a Training and Development Analyst at the University ofCalifornia, Irvine.

Tepei Hayashi after graduating in 2007 was an Education Abroad and Internship advisor at Oregon StateUniversity - Office of International Programs.

Chris Van Dorn upon graduating in 2008 was the Outreach Coordinator for the Graduate Student Centerat the University of Pennsylvania.

Elissa Buxbaum who graduated in 2006, was the Associate Director of the Greenfield InterculturalCenter at the University of Pennsylvania, and is now a freelance facilitator ofDiversity Workshops in Orlando, Florida.


2) Academic Research and University Teaching Track


Elizabeth Markham, who graduated in 2006 is pursuing a PhD program in ICC at the University of  Massachusetts, Amherst.

Caroline Issacs who graduated in 2006 is pursuing a PhD program in Linguistics at the University ofFlorida.

Kyuhwan Kim who graduated in 2005 pursued a MS in Speech Pathology at Temple University.

Larisa Warhol who graduated in 2005,  completed a PhD in Educational Leadershipand Policy Studies at Arizona State University. She is now a postdoctoralfellow at the Center for Educational Policy Analysis at the University ofConnecticut.

Heather Willet who graduated in 2004 continued on to further study at Duke Divinity School.

Stephanie Lo who graduated in 2005 went on to further study at the Graduate School of Educationat the University of California-Berkley.


3) Multicultural Education/Language Teaching andTraining Track


Cristina Viray who graduated in 2006 is a program specialist for Family Literacy at the CarlosRosario International School for adults, Washington, DC

Amy Torres who graduated in 2005 is a Spanish/ESL Teacher in the Treddefryn-Easttown SchoolDistrict, PA

Erika Powell upon graduating in 2006 worked as a Spanish/ESL teacher and as a program assistant atthe Penn English Language Program.

Montserrat Roda who graduated in 2008 is now a history and geography teacher in Barcelona, Spain


Cori Cuomo who graduated in 2007 worked as a 9th grade English Teacher in Maryland

Jing Sun upon graduating in 2006 became an Associate Professor of Languages and Literature atthe Yunnan Nationalities  University  in Kunmingh, China


Amita Desai upon graduating in 2007 worked as a CurriculumSpecialist for Wireless Generation in New York City

Melissa Hunter who graduated in 2008 went on to work for the Academy for Educational Development(AED)- NGO, Washington DC

Katie Lozier is a current student in the ICC program and issimultaneously working as a manager of enrollment and student services at theEnglish Language Programs at Penn.

GSE Penn的膨胀是最近几年的事。ICC 也是。08年之前international students很少，而且录取标准很高。
data collecting应该不是exhaustively complete.
