Ph. D. Opening in Robotics

The Intelligent Autonomous Systems Lab (http://ualr.edu/cxye/laboratory.htm) of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has five Ph.D. student openings for Spring/Fall 2014. The successful candidates will develop computer vision methods based on a 3D time-of-flight camera for small robots or robotic devices. The research topics include:
-        6 DOF SLAM
-        3D map-building and autonomous navigation
-        3D data segmentation
-        Object/scene recognition
