First of all, human nature has not changed in the history.举例：贪婪、贪污受贿
What is more, social speculation has never disappeared in any time period.任何时代人们都根据比较优势comparative advantage分工。举例：古代男耕女织
Finally, the relation among different countries today is similar to any period in the history.国家主权意识、为资源发生战争、地缘政治、外交手段等。

感想：同意时，需要找古今相同而且少有争议的方面进行讨论。

TS (pt1, pt2, pt3): The reasons why we conduct research in the field of history always attract lots of attention and are often in heated discussion. Some assert that acquiring the historical knowledge allows us to know that current human beings are indeed similar to their ancestors long ago. Although I agree that the aspects involving social science and humanity of the people nowadays are not notably different from those of their progenitors due to the stability and consistency of the human nature, the progress in natural science and engineering has rendered the humankind’s life dramatically changed. In fact, since modern technology helps present residents on this planet live a more convenient life and concurrently uses a series of challenges to jeopardize them, the current people cannot share the same characteristics with their forefathers to a large extent.
  
ts (pt1): To begin with, both the present and ancient people obey the rules of certain subjects in the social science field. 社会科学领域里，今人、古人的变化不大，他们都得遵守一定的规律。例如，经济学里的由供求关系决定商品价格这一原则，千百年前的古人会运用，称之为“物以稀为贵”，现代人也要运用，只要每天关注一下各类商品的价格波动就可得知。因此题目里的陈述可以运用在社科领域。

ts (pt2): What is more, those humanity studies have revealed the human nature which preserves from the past to today. 人们对于宗教、历史的研究，发现许多历史上的悲剧总是重复地出现，这是人性使然。比如说，一旦追求乌托邦、进行政教合一的统治，必定导致巨大人祸。无论是过去西欧黑暗的中世纪，还是20世纪30年代苏联骇人听闻的“大清洗”，直到20世纪60、70年代中国的“Cultural Revolution”都证明了这一点，其后隐藏的人性黑暗，更是大同小异，让人引以为戒。题目中的观点在人文领域也能成立。

ts (p4): Meanwhile, the development of science and technology poses a myriad of challenges to our society and shapes the present men and women. 除了好处，新科技也有不少弊端，同样使得现代人不同与古人。其一，方便的交通、通讯让人生活节奏加快，压力增大，比古人更加疲惫、紧张。第二，新科技带来了诸如工厂污水、废气排放等环境污染问题，使得人们的健康受到严重威胁，最明显的一点就是当代人罹患癌症的几率远远高于古人。最后，当代科技生产出的核弹等Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)，真的让人类面临灭绝的威胁，这是古人所没有经历过的。总而言之，现代科技给人们带来的麻烦也让今人不同于古人。

今天我也在思考Issue 57这题，感觉题目太复杂。要反对题目的话，既要讨论the main benefit of historical study是什么，又要论证今天的人跟过去的人不一样。
我在想是不是需要举这样三个例子/情况：每个都要推导出其main benefit是别的东西，不是题目所说的人与人同不同，同时每个例子还要能顺便证明今人跟古人不一样。
