149.  In any field—business, politics, education, government—those in power should be required to step down after five years.

再上一篇提纲，欢迎王老师和各位G友指教，特别是也在写这个话题的同学一起切磋。这个题目感觉既要分类讨论（政治，商业，教育），又要涉及这项建议的consequence。所以我的思路是

主旨：政治可行，商业和教育不可行
1政治：换届有助于限制权力膨胀，保护民主制度，否则。。。用智利的反例说后果
2教育：a教育界不存在权力膨胀的危险。例：美国大学校长平均任期12年也没有独裁专断的案例
          b频繁更替会扰乱教育理念的贯彻（此处例子不好找，捉急）
3商业：企业成功在于领导才干，频繁更替会造成人才流失，企业受损。例子：乔布斯对苹果的贡献以及假设他没长期任职可能苹果就没那么成功。

我觉得这个思路挺好 -TS

全文互改小组里也有两篇类似的提纲，感觉一些points挺有借鉴意义。比如：政治领导人在位久了会出现寻租行为，和利益集团勾结；企业和教育界的领导任期长有助于发展人脉，也是公司学校发展的无形资产等。

It is widely recognized that power shift is to an institution as metabolism is to human body. I agree that in order to prevent the abuse of authority, political leaders should resign from their position at a regular basis, say every five years. This policy, however does not apply to the field of business and education, and may even cause undesirable outcomes if it were to be carried out indiscriminately.

Because a company may suffer from brain drain if a truly great leader cannot be reappointed after one term in office. 从乔布斯重返苹果公司算起，他担任CEO长达15年。假如他不得不在任职五年后卸任，那么itouch, ipad, iphone等一系列独具创意和竞争力的产品就可能不会出现，苹果产品也可能不会像今天那样风靡世界。

关于power shift, 在谷歌里确实有看到 global power shift 或者 shift in global power,安全起见我还是改成shift in power
