过去一周主要在做点评的汇总，没有新的练习。可能部分同学的作文学习会有些停滞。现推出一些范文学习和思路拓展的练习。具体步骤如下：
1. 先思考这道题，自己列一个提纲，包括主旨句、主题句、汉语展开等。
2. 将提纲回复到楼下并阅读我写的示范。
3. 书面讨论一下自己读我的示范的心得体会，同时也欢迎拍砖。 这里可以分内容和语言表达两方面来讨论。
4. 结合范文修改一下自己的提纲。

时间关系，本帖的回复我不会仔细点评，不过希望大家踊跃参与讨论。有心准备GRE作文的同学可以加我微信-tesolchina，注明寄托ID。

I agree with the statement that all college students should be required to take courses in which they read mythology, poetry and novels and other types of imaginative literature. To become well-round individuals, one should be well-educated with a deep understanding of the culture background, have the aesthetic abilities, and be equipped with the wisdom of life. And such courses will provide them with all of these.

主题句1：To begin  with, the readings of mythology, poetry and classic drama help students  understand the culture and better use their languages.
主题句2：Moreover,  such courses teach college students to tell and appreciate beauty.

看过范文以后，主要的体会就是范文对题目的回应更加全面，分别强调了"literature" “require”和“course”两个方面。我的提纲主要是在回应reading imaginative literature如何好，但是没有回应要不要和为什么要以required course的形式来要求学生。

主旨句：In any a society, the difinition of well-rounded individuals can be varied from time to time; some people say that in order to be be a well-rounded individuals, students should take various of courses including poetry,novels and so on, while others claim that the well-rounded individuals should be one that s/he can specialize in particular fields rather than waste time on other subjects which are unrelated to his or her profession. However, as far as I am concerned, the well-rounded individuals should be tailored to students according to their majors, interests as well as ablities.

刚进入砍G复习状态，第一次发提纲。。。。

Apparently, a physicist who can play Beethoven’s sonata in his rest time is more compelling than one who merely do the experiment and write paper in the lab day and night. So, it’s a commonplace that our courage education ought to cultivate well-rounded students, rather then assemble student as a common machine just equipped with major knowledge. Therefore, I believe that the imaginative literature course will benefit for a well-rounded student, and student will be incented to get a deep realization through teacher’s instruction. I oppose, however, compel students to touch imaginative literature in the method of required course.

主题句1：First of all, reading imaginative literature will contribute a deeper and wider extent of human history and literature realization for collage students.

Though imaginative literature would actually be advantageous, but forcing it to be required course for everyone among every collage is not an intelligence choice.

College students can become an expert in a certain field by learning courses exclusively offered in their own major. However, in order to become well-rounded individuals, all college students should be required to take imaginative literatures such as poetry, novels, mythology etc. By learning these imaginative literature courses, it will help students become well-rounded people with good understanding of the culture, and with wisdom of life. In addition, through required courses, students shall be given incentive to learn the courses systemically. Under the guidance of a professor, students can understand the imaginative literature deeply and correctly.

To begin with, imaginative literature courses are important for college students to become well-rounded individuals with good understanding of their culture, and with wisdoms of life.
现代语言中有很多词汇是有丰富的文化背景的，根据神话故事或者前人的事迹演化而来,通过对文字背后的故事的了解，加深他们对当代文化起源的认识，也加深了对语言的理解。通过读小说、诗等作品，学生们可以通过作者的角度理解爱与恨，成功与失败，学习如何为人处事，如何面对困难，使他们学习到生活的智慧，成为well-rounded person.

Moreover, through required courses, students shall be given incentive to learn the courses systemically. 进入大学后，没有imaginative literature课业压力、没有举了解这方面内容，加之网络游戏、丰富的电视电影资源，使得大部分学生没有动力主动学习这方面内容。因此，如果imaginative literature变成所有学生的必修课，在课程压力的驱使下，学生会产生学习的动力，规范、系统地完成学校布置的课程。

Finally, in order to understand the literature deeply and correctly, instructions from professors are necessary. 教授在阅读和理解这些文章方面有经过了多年专业的学习，并拥有丰富的经验。鉴于不同的学生对于文学作品的理解方向、深度不同，教授的指导就显得尤为重要。教授对学生的指引和启发可以使学生对文学作品的理解和掌握达到要求的深度，并使学生获得技能，应用在其他类似的文学作品中。

题目里说WOULD OR WOULD NOT，不是AND,所以只回应一方面应该就可以了吧，个人的一点理解哈

读范文后的感想：
老师是完全支持imaginative literature 对于become well-rounded individuals的重要性的；第一段是总论，第二段具体阐释，第三段讲可能会质疑的地方，第四、五段对这些质疑进行了反驳。总体上，具体的论证段是先提出分论点，后提出支撑的例子。不过老师并没有在第一段就点出可能被质疑的地方，而是在第三段单独列出了。还有的思考是，虽然老师提出了肯能被质疑的地方，不过随即又否定了该质疑，这样是critical thinking了，可是是否全文的观点都是支持而显得不那么critical了呢？
