The passage claims that the population of the birds are fewer and fewer, but the professor argues that the supports of the decreasing the birds population are un convincible. She proposes the following reasons.
Firstly the passage believe that the human population are expanding the larger area are needed by human being , they construct more and more houses malls and offices so the habitats of the bird are shrinking even some of them disappeared. But the professor argued maybe it is true for some types of birds but urban development actually provide better and larger habitats for other types , many types of birds population are increasing.
Secondly the passage think the land for agriculture using are increasing it cause the declining for birds habitats , so the bird populations in the rural areas continue to decline,. But in the lecture professor suggested the truth is the unite states increase the production of the agriculture not the agriculture land, they introduce the new variety productive crops, there is no need to destroy the birds habitats for agriculture using.
Thirdly the author argue the increasing the pesticide using will cause the declining of birds population since the pesticide may get into water and food which the birds consuming ,they can prevent the reproduction of the birds. However professor think in nowadays people aware the possible of consequence of traditional pesticide have, so two changes occurred: first new and much less of toxic pesticides have been developed .second the  growing more pesticide resistant crops which genetically design to be unattractive to the pests. These crops greatly reduce the need for chemical pesticide and don’t harm birds at all.
1.        Q: do you agree or disagree with the following statement Most advertisements make products seem much better than they really are.
I agree with the statement that most advertisements make products seem much better than they really are .
the main goal of advertisement is attracting costumer to buy the products ,generally we could see the advertisements at television newspaper or bulletin for advertisements on the streets .  since the time is limited on television, the areas on newspaper or bulletin for ads are limited. So the ads always overstate to attract more potential costumer. they use colors 、animations and special voice
to describe the products. These description always inspire the imagination of costumers, they would imagine that the products are really as perfect as the ads , Actually the products seem much better than they really are. For instance my daughter saw an ad that a toy beer can talk with kids, In the ad when you ask the toy anything it can give you a correct answer. It was amazing. I bought it as a birthday gift for my daughter, but when she talked with the beer she found it only could answer 5 designed questions.
Anything in the world have two sides positive and negative ,but I have never seen any ads to show the negative of the products, during the limited time or areas they use many kinds of technical ,so they express the positive information of the products to the costumers.
The most important thing is the ads need cost, maybe a big deal, especially ads on Tv . If they spend lots of money on ads ,there are two results: first they should sell more products to make money, second they may shrink money on the research of products. The ads increase the cost of products so they need attract more costumers to buy the products, in the ads they may exaggerate the information of products.  more money spend on ads the less money spend on the research so the produces really aren’t as better as they are in the ads
