请致函ETS要求公开issue和argument的分数及返还考场作文

一直以来，我们参加GRE作文只有一个分数。除非拿到1分或者6分，我们根本无法知道issue和argument分别的表现。比如3.5分，有可能是i 3 a4或者i 4 a3，甚至还有可能是i2 a5。对于ETS来说，提供issue和argument分别的成绩可谓举手之劳，对广大被蒙在鼓里的考生却有相当的借鉴意义。

与此同时，作为考场作文的作者，我们拥有对文章的版权。对于我们的劳动成果，我们完全有权利要求ETS返还一份电子版本作为我们学习和参考之用。

对于分部报分和返还作文这两个问题，我已通过官网致函ETS，要求ETS考虑我的要求，提高写作考试的透明度。

Dear Sir/Madam,
       I am writing to express my concern that the scoring process of GRE writing tests is not transparent enough. While the test takers can access the diagnosis for verbal tests, no information is provided about the specific scores for issue and argument tasks. This lack of information left many of us at dark about which section (issue or argument) we performed better.  Please consider releasing two separate scores for issue and argument tasks in future.
       In addition, I believe that ETS should also return a soft copy of the essays we wrote during the tests so we can reflect on our writing and learn from it. In fact, as authors of the essays, we own the copyright of the our answers and the ETS should show respect to our ownership of the essays by offering a soft copy.  
       These two concerns (separate score report and returning essays) are widely shared by a great many Chinese test takers. In the near future, you’ll probably receive more messages from other Chinese candidates regarding the need of a more transparent GRE writing test.

I would appreciate it if ETS could provide two separate scores for issue and argument tasks in the future. Additionally, I think that testing candidates have the copyright of essays that they have written in the examination, so ETS is supposed to return a soft copy of each candidate's essay. I am writting to give some advice about the AW scoring. I would like to know if the scores of issue and argument could be reported separately, so that test takers could know where their weakness lies in and practice with a more specific target.
In addition, if the essays they wrote could be released to the test takers, they would get access to reviewing their essays and be aware of whether they have made some unknown mistakes, which could help them better prepare for their next tests.
I would appreciate it if the two suggestions above could be considered.
