11.29号考试，打算以后每天写一篇，一年多以前考过一次托writing22分，这一年也提高了一些吧。。不过依然很捉急，今天是作文准备的第一天~求大神互改！

In the reading, it just brings out several benefits of genetic modification, but the lecture points out that there are more problems beneath the benefits said in the reading.

To begin with, the reading said that genetically modified trees are more possible to survive. But the lecture contends that although modified trees can resist some conditions, it no means that they would survive. Because local trees may be damaged due to climate factors or pet infections, but other kinds of local trees could survive instead. So, when there are other infections which not considered during genetic modification, these uniform trees would all die.

What's more, the reading supports that genetically modified trees will benefits farmers who grow them, since these trees have more products. The lecture disagrees with it, citing that every time the farmers plant these trees, they must buy the seeds again according to related laws, which will bring more costs to them. So it may cost more rather than bring more benefits.

Finally, although the reading holds that genetically modified trees can protect wild trees because they can meet the demand for wood, the lecture says that genetically modified trees may make more damage to local trees considering that they are often aggressive. Since they are often plant among local trees, they will compete with local trees for resources such as water.

To sum up, the reading brings three reasons to support that it has a lot of advantages to plant genetically modified trees but the lecture shows problems among these reasons.

For success in a future job, the ability to relate well to people is more important than studying hard in school.

As for being successful in a future job, it should depend on what kinds of jobs to draw a conclusion which kind of ability is more important. In some fields such as nature science or engineering, there is not too much requirement to relate well to people, but it needs a solid foundation so studying hard in school is necessary. On the contrary, when you do a job as a news reporter or waiter, relating well to people plays a more significant role to success in your job.

Firstly, as a student major in Microelectronics, if students in my field want to be outstanding in the future, they should have strong ability to calculate values of each parameter in circuits and to analyze the influence of all kinds of unideal elements. We do not need to say a word all day. So, having the ability to relate well to people have nothing to do with this kind of job. However, studying hard is really important. Every subject, including maths, physics and biology are all need a long time to do more exercises to understand them better. It is impossible to learn well without hard-working spirit.

However, in some major such as public relationships, only studying hard in school could not solve problems brought out in the future. One who wants to do well must have abundant experience to relate well to people. Some universities even invite local people around to have free lectures, in order to give students more chance to communicate with people having different identities in society. In this case, having high scores in examination is not efficient as doing more research among peoples and enhance the ability to relate well to people.

What's more, as the developing of today's society, the demands of employers are higher than before. So it is better to improve the ability of both sides. On the one hand, relating well to people can bring us more opportunities to learn from others and get help from them even if the job you do is related to science research or engineering. On the other hand, studying hard will also do benefits to students who major in Public relationships or Marketing etc, becausing only if you have better understanding about this job, will you be more easy when facing problems in the future.

To sum up, the ability to relate well to people and studying hard in school will both help to success in future jobs. Having the ability to relate well to people will broaden your horizon and help you find more opportunities while studying hard in school will bring you a solid foundation in your field. But which is more important depends on which kind of job do you take.
