Multiple GRA/GTA positions are available for Ph.D candidates starting from Fall 2016 with Dr. Ioannis Schizas in the Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington. UT Arlington is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Dr. Ioannis Schizas’ research interests focus on the area of statistical signal processing, distributed signal processing, wireless sensor networks, sparsity-aware information processing and

Applicants should have a M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics,
Mathematics or other related fields, and strong motivation toward high quality research in
signal processing, sensor networks, machine learning and distributed processing.
