TPO 19 task 4 好难啊\



In the lecture, the professor talks about ritualization which means some animal behaviors changes over time, a behavior that had practical purpose can develop into something that can deliver a specific message. And she talks about why dogs show their teeth to warn others. In the very beginning, the purpose of this action was very simple, dogs would bare their teeth so they won’t bite their own lips when engaging in a fight. Over time, other animals have learned that teeth-baring means that the dog is ready to attack. And that led the dog to realize that by simply showing it’s teeth, other animals will back off, it’s learned that it did not have to actually attack to get the same results. That’s how dogs begin to use this behavior as a warning signal.

Ritualization
Sociobiologists believe that some communicative behavior in animals is developed through a process called ritualization. In this process, the purpose of a given behavior changes over time—a behavior that originally had a practical purpose develops into one that communicates a specific message. For example, a certain movement or physical feature might evolve to serve as a signal or a warning that other animals will understand. Once a behavior is ritualized, it becomes a form of communication; therefore, if an animal engages in this behavior, other animals will be able to interpret the meaning of the behavior quickly and respond appropriately.

The man’s problem is that he got his paper from the professor later than most other students, he might not have enough time to deal with all the comments made by the professor. There are two possible solutions. The first is asking the professor for a deadline extension. The second solution is to work as quickly as possible with the time left. I think the first solution is a better idea for the following reasons. First of all, him not having enough time to work on the paper is caused by the professor not getting his paper back in time. As long as he ask the professor nicely, the professor will understand. Also, the other solution is not a good choice because rushing the work will affect his grade, and he needs a good one
task 6 听了半天没找到从哪儿开始 问法也不是 explain two way of .. 而是 explain the concept of diffusion.
那么问题来了 现在还会按照task 6 这种考法 出题 吗

今天做了TPO 16
TASK1 记得给example
看着点时间 尽量在60秒结束

task 4 如果The professor uses a study to illustrate this phenomenon.
那么应该解释一下实验室怎么做的
In the study,  some people are asked to ,others .

解决方案的关键词没有听到

一个是she  一个是he !
