In Megalopolis, the number of law school graduates who went to work for large, corporate firms declined by 15 percent over the last three years, whereas an increasing number of graduates took jobs at small, general practice firms. Even though large firms usually offer much higher salaries, law school graduates are choosing to work for the smaller firms most likely because they experience greater job satisfaction at smaller firms. In a survey of first-year students at a leading law school, most agreed with the statement that earning a high salary was less important to them than job satisfaction. This finding suggests that the large, corporate firms of Megalopolis will need to offer graduates more benefits and incentives and reduce the number of hours they must work

This argument put forward that the number of law school graduates from Megalopolis who chose to work for large, corporate companies decreased by 15 percent over the last three years. Those graduates are prefer to involve in small, general practice firms for the reason that they have a belief that will get more satisfaction in jobs by the comfortable atmosphere in small corporates. It seems that the higher salary from large firm cannot appealing most of graduates. The author then followed a survey among a group of freshmen at a leading law school shows that those young men are going to work in small firms when they graduate. Thus the author propose large, corporate firms of Megalopolis will need to improve benefits and incentives for graduates and meanwhile reduce the number of working hours. At first glance, it sounds reasonable, but to some degree, the argument cannot convince me without further convincing information.

It can be inferred that only the graduates from law school be served to prove that the number of them choose to work for the large, corporate company has declined by 15 percent over the last three years. There has no evidence demonstrates that other graduates from different majors will not be eventually attracted by large companies but turn to small ones. Indeed some of small firms are more flexible than large one, which has series rules and regulations that sometimes make the stuffs felt be controlled and lost self freedom. In addition, a grand number of technical and well educated individuals be badly needed when a small firm is increasingly developing. Therefore new graduates will be more indispensable and have more priorities than in large ones. Eventually, in such condition some graduates begin to make a delusion that he/she will enable to demonstrate the whole abilities.

However, there is a crucial problem that a list of small firms do not equipment themselves with the abilities to survive from economical market risks, which means that employees from such firms might loss jobs easier. From that point graduates who consider such firms will be prepared to meet that challenges appropriately. Further more, new employees will come across unfair issues in small firms which featured incomplete rules. For instance, be paid less salary when have done the same amount of work as others, or be treated in an uncomfortable way for they are fresh employees. Unfortunately, fledgings in that working place rarely have an appropriate apartment to fight their rights.

Finally, a survey that among a group of freshmen from law school concluded those students will choose to be employed by small firms which provide them with better jobs satisfactions. That argument is lack of evidence to support the fundamental assumption. As time goes by, there will be another three years for them to graduate and make a decision about job finding. It has entirely possibilities that those students will change their idea about jobs after they have an internship experience in large company. Maybe at that time going to work for a large company is a fashion trend.

To the end, the author suggest that large companies should arise the benefits and welfare for the graduates in order to be appealing. The evidences the author has given cannot convince me until he put forward more detail surveys about most of the graduates in Megalopolis and make necessary analyses about the contract between small firms and large ones in Megalopolis.
