第一空先不管，看不出多少信息

这里用自己的话填 begin，然后到选项里找答案 ensue。
be evaluated 也可以作为备选答案，暂时保留。


现在回到第一句 This question is not (i)_____
仍然没办法用自己的话回答，直接到选项里找答案：
如果填 （not）answerable 冒号前和冒号后失去了联系
如果填 （not）difficult ，也许可以吧，但是依然联系不强
（not）trivial，前后的意思一致，比 difficult 明显更好。


现在从头到尾读一遍，发现第二空不能选 be evaluated。
因为与 ensue 相比，be evaluated 太过于强调“只想不做”，无法体现出冒号前 not trivial 的意思。

你理解错了第二句话的意思

第二句是说

如果一个外来物种被认为是具有潜在危害的，那么花费大量金钱精力的、甚至可能对生态环境带来破坏的根除这个外来物种的行动将可能会被执行。

为什么不选difficult是因为那个冒号的存在，它表示前后是相同意思的不同说法。
即： 这个问题很重要：它关系到是否要采取后果严重的举措。

而如果选了 difficult，前后变成了不是“同义重复”，而是递进继续说明的关系，与那个冒号的功能相矛盾。

哦。 我明白了，后面的那个eradication不是自然界给予的，而是人为的。 之前把它理解我人为的了。 好厉害，这个真的没有怎么看出来。 你数学和verbal都好强啊，你考了么？还是还在复习恩？

有点感觉了。。勉强来说或许该空和eradication与上文的accepted成对比，一个消除一个接受。如果be evaluated修饰eradication，似乎显得执行力度不够，对比不强烈。

新物种是否被科学家接受（即,认可）是重要的；如果被证明是harmful（意思相当于：没有被科学家接受），将会导致很繁重的治理措施。（即，被科学家accept很重要）

我做错的原因有几点：
1. initiative 韦氏词典有 a plan or program that is intended to solve a problem的意思，这个我做题时不知道
2. 回头分析后半句的then，能体会出一个逻辑推理过程
3.被科学家接受与后半句的关系没理清楚，单纯靠冒号因果逻辑做，容易做错。
