With the development,, the city is playing a more important role in the culture, economy and politic. According to that. Some people insists the government should support enough fund to the major city, in order to preserving wonderful traditional culture. While it is reasonable at some part, the culture and the fund could not be mixed up. The traditional culture will be preserved in both big city and small remote place, differentiating in many characteristics.

To begin with, it is essential to support enough money to facilitate the development of big cities. The major city has become the represent of a country and lead some fields of the country to thrive. Shanghai is the economical center of China while the New York is the essential market of global world. The development of big city could be linked with the success of many other cities. In 1989, Shenzhen, including most areas around it, was still a poor place where people tried to escape to Hongkong. But with the supplement of many policy, the government had supported enough many for Shenzhen. Now, Shenzhen is one of the most original place in the world while the whole Guangzhou province improve the fascinating living standard. So there is no doubt that the government should support enough money to the big city.

However, another important factor is that big city could not be equal to tradition culture. Most cultural traditions have been preserved in some remote places well. Even some traditions have been destroyed due to the development of urban life. So that fund should be considered to support specific traditions rather than cities. Shadow play, which is a wonderful art using the change of shadow, have been succeed in China for more than 2000 years in west China. It cannot be   connected to a specific place while the player always wandered aimless for life. We regard shadow play as a symbol of that area. Most players now are companying with their students in some remote place where the slow lifestyle allow the survive of these arts, So the government should fund those tradition in a more useful way. Paying too much attention to big city will do bad effect in preserving those values.

In addition, the government could figure out a reliable way to thrive the development of old fashioned tradition, The big city is famous as the place where outdated things could be learned and favored in a short time. Rare traditions is prevailing in remote place, meaning this tradition is limited in small area. The best way to develop a old tradition is to let more people realize it, then the foundation of this tradition could be strengthen better. In 2015, a old instrument called Suona have been filmed a important movie, telling about the poor situation of this rare instrument. After the film in big cities, while the Suona was just used in remote place at past, it is becoming more familiar word in the Internet and more people tried to use it, This is a way that the big city should do to facilitate the development of cultural traditions,

To sum up, the old tradition should be facilitated by many ways in both big cities and remote places. And due to the fund supporting big cities, it could benefit the development of cultural traditions either.
