Professor Sunggook Park's group in Lousisana State University has ph.D positions open for qualified candidates with chemistry, physics, biological engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering backgrounds. Our group is one of the leading teams working on polymer-based nanoscale device for chemicals and biomolecules sensing. The device have multiple applications, such as faster and cheaper DNA sequencing. We've developed the fabrication technique for the platform and we need more qualified colleagues to work on this exciting project.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to send their application package to Prof. Sunggook Park via an email (zjia4@lsu.edu). The application package should be in a single pdf file that includes (1) full CV, (2) list of at least 3 professional references, (3) copies of publications, if any, and (4) copies of undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

Dr. Sunggook Park 课题组招phD学生。我们组主要做基于高分子材料的纳米尺度sensor, 比如纳米通道纳米孔。我们已成功掌握小尺度纳米传感器制备方法,现需要更多对此感兴趣的同学一起探索纳米传感器的应用。我们现在正尝试用该纳米传感器对碱基进行检测,已得到了初步结果并将进一步对设备进行完善。
