求问芝加哥那个口语26的要求有可能放宽么

早上刚收到MACSS的录取，但是有说学校的最低语言要求 单项不低于26 请问小伙伴口语26这个是必须达到么  求教求教????????????

he Division of the Social Sciences now has the following policy for regarding admitted students required to meet an English proficiency requirement.

Any admitted student required to meet the English proficiency requirement but whose speaking score is below 26, with all other scores are at least 26, have the following options to meet the requirement in order to continue for I-20/DS-2019 processing and matriculation.

Option 1: Retest for the TOEFL or IELTS until the minimum score of 26 in speaking has been achieved. Please bear in mind can take 4 to 6 weeks for the university to receive and process official English proficiency reports.

Option 2: Request a language assessment via Skype through our Office Of Language Assessment. A score of Proficient or higher is required in order to continue for I-20/DS-2019 processing and matriculation. This assessment will be at our expense.

In addition, any admitted student who opts to participate in the Skype assessment will be required to attend and complete the Academic English Pre-Matriculation Program. This program is at the expense of the newly admitted student. Dates for this program for 2018 can be found at https://esl.uchicago.edu/page/aepp-calendar

All applicants required to attend AEPP may register either Session 1 or Session 2, however any admitted student to the PhD program in Economics or the Economics track in MAPSS will be required to attend AEPP Session 1. Registration information will be sent at a later date.

If you would like to take advantage of Option 2 (Skype assessment), please contact us as soon as possible at ssd-admissions@uchicago.edu.

Please note, if more than one section of the exam is below the minimum required scores, retesting for either the TOEFL or IELTS will be required.

Visa processing information - for either the I-20 or the DS-2019 - is not sent until the English proficiency requirement has been met, either by retesting or complete the Skype assessment. To allow time for processing of documents, the English proficiency requirement must be met no later than 45 days prior to planned arrival.

非常感谢，那如果口语刷到了26，其他某一项万一低于26了，也可以么，感觉好久不看生疏了

同需要刷口语分……实在是太久没碰英语了。不过那个口语夏令营的时间好像和写作冲突了，感觉现在刷一下托福，暑假上学术写作会更好一点。

你有收到学校说要你参加summer camp吗？我offer里面没有这样说，然后网站里面写说如果需要参加camp的话会immediately通知。要是没通知的话应该就是自动waive掉了？

没说 但是那个后面几页里有 单项不低于26是processing visa的要求????
