Ph.D. opening in Cyber Security @Washington University in St. Louis

Professor Ning Zhang is looking for self-motivated students who are interested in pursuing Ph.D. degree with a focus on computer security in Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St Louis, MO, USA, starting in Fall 2019. Full financial support (RA) will be provided to students admitted into the Ph.D. program.  

Prospective students are expected to have solid backgrounds in computer science and engineering. The focused areas of research of the lab would be trustworthy system, vulnerability discovery, and cyber-physical system security. Prior experience in computer architecture, programming language, operating system, embedded system and cryptography is preferred, but not required.

About Professor Zhang:
Dr. Ning Zhang joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in Fall 2018. Previously he had been a principal cyber engineer/researcher and technical lead in the industry from 2007 to 2018. Ning's research focus is system security, which lies at the intersection of security, embedded system, computer architecture, software and cyber-physical system.
