Dr. Changxue Xu’s research group is seeking one outstanding PhD student to work in the area of 3D bioprinting. The ideal student will be creative and independent in thinking about new research studies. Experiences in additive manufacturing, biological polymer materials and fluid dynamics are highly desirable. Outstanding TOEFL and GRE scores are plus. Students from all science or engineering majors, especially Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Energy and Power Engineering are encouraged to apply. Biofabrication of scaffolds/tissues
3D printing of functional materials  
Digital micro-mirror device (DMD)-based projection lithography
