Job Title: Research Fellow
Location: Singapore
The CAP Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated research fellow with AI knowledge background. You will be responsible for the research and development of our machine learning systems, towards smart grid or green data center.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cutting-edge research and development in the machine learning field;
Publish high-quality papers in high-impact journals and conferences;
Transfer advanced technologies to real-world applications (smart grid, data center operation, etc);
Conduct literature review and write high-quality surveys;
Present research insights to team members and external partners;
Produce and file technical disclosure (TD) and intellectual property (IP);
Mentor PhD or Master students to improve their research skills.

Requirements:
PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines;
Hands-on research experience in machine learning field;
Prefer candidates with publications in top-tier venues such as NIPS, ICML, AAAI, etc ；
Highly competent in algorithms and programming; Strong coding skills in Python ；
Work and collaborate well with team members ；
Ability to work independently and proactively;
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Job Title: Research Engineer (Frontend Developer)
Location: Singapore
The CAP Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Front-End developer who is responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties. He/she will take a key role in participating in the development and implementation strategy of a cloud AI platform for industrial application, e.g., data center operations and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for optimising scalability, reliability and performance of web pages for a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) product;
Architecturally efficient and highly reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications;
Collaborate with other engineers, product managers and UI/UX designers, working on building and maintaining services;
Be a proactive part of a small, dynamic, and highly committed team.

Requirements:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field;
1+ year experience in developing frontend web applications, with demonstratable expertise in functional programming and deep optimisation of end user experience, stability and scalability, code modularity and rendering latency;
Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS frontend engineering experience and strong familiarity with key concepts including asynchronous programming;
Knowledge of React is a huge plus;
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality;
Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast paced and culturally diverse team environment;
Excellent communication skills.

Job Title: Research Engineer (Full-stack Developer)
Location: Singapore
The CAP Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Full-stack developer who is responsible for developing and designing web-based applications, ensuring their responsiveness, and working alongside UI desinger for system design features, among other duties. He/she will take a key role in participating in the development and implementation strategy of a cloud AI platform for industrial application, e.g., data center operations and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with System Architect and Project Manager, to build enterprise-level data center management and data analytics services while effectively supporting product decisions and growth strategies;
Move fast and react quickly to customers' needs, while maintaining a high engineering standard;
Work with Backend and Frontend Engineers to deliver product features;
Pay extra attention to engineering quality and service quality to satisfy the needs of enterprise customers.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience;
Proficiency in more than one commonly used backend programming language (Java, Go or Python, etc.);
Proficiency in containerization techniques such as Docker;
At least 1 years of experience with JavaScript, familiar with concepts like asynchronous programming;
Experience in building large-scale web applications and optimizing the system performance in a fast-paced team environment;
Familiarity with quality assurance techniques such as A/B testing;
Familiarity with data analytics tech stacks, such as sklearn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Job Title: Research Engineer (Solution Architect)
Location: Singapore
The CAP Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Solution Architect in developing a cloud AI platform for industrial application, e.g., data center operations and optimization. The candidate will play a key role in development and implementation of the industry AI system.

Key responsibilities:
Define the infrastructure evolution strategy and oversee the execution based on the organization’s business needs, industry trends, and technology stack;
Responsible for the implementation of the company's critical infrastructure systems, including but not limited to computation, storage, database, and network, etc;
Provides leadership for quality-focused activities such as requirements integration detail reviews, technical design reviews, test plan reviews, and impact analysis reviews;
Work closely with the PM and BD team to assure that any new Integration being done appropriately with the internal/external teams aligns with direction, best practices, and standards defined;
Communicate with industrial clients to understand the first-hand client needs and translate and integrate them into the system architecture design;
Write patent applications;

Requirements:
Bachelor/Master degrees in computer-related fields;
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience (cloud computing and data center) with a strong track of records;
Expertise in designing and building infrastructure systems;
Strong skills in communication, cooperation, and promotion;
Expert in at least one major programming language such as C++, Java, Python, Go, etc;
Expert in cloud orchestration techniques like K8s and containerization techniques such as docker;
