Description:
The PhD scholarships are available In Bioimaging lab for students who have strong interest in Biophotonics and Bioimaging techniques, and wish to pursue PhD degree in the topics such as tissue fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy and imaging for biomedical diagnosis; biomedical optics; tissue optics; coherent anti-stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy; near-filed microscopy imaging; total internal reflectance fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy; speckle dynamic and speckle interferometry techniques; optical coherence microscopy; near-infrared spectroscopy imaging; modeling of light propagation in tissue; imaging through turbid media; confocal/multiphoton microscopy; second harmonic generation; low-coherence interferometry and tomography techniques.



Qualifications:
We welcome applications for PhD research from students with a good first degree (M.S. or above advantageous) in one of the following areas: Biomedical/Optical Engineering, EE & Computer Eng, Physics or Applied Physics, biophysics, cellular or molecular biology; Biochemistry, Applied Mathematics or a related discipline.
